Im sorry to hear that the remote did not work with your You Tube streaming box. I apologize as far as i can tell there is no youtube streaming box when I looked, Without knowing what the actual streaming device is I would not be look further into the issue.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you had this experience. The 7935 is designed to work specifically for Roku TV's. With other TV's you will only be able to control power, volume, mute and input.

Posted .I'm sorry to hear you had an issue with our remote. If you were only using the remote with only the Samsung tv it will by design only control power, volume, and input. As the remote's primary purpose is to control streaming devices such as roku.

I definitely wouldn't recommend this remote for a universal remote.

Won't work with Roku - no warning from Best Buy .

I bought this remote online at the best buy site. When the box arrived it had a label on it saying "won't work with Roku"; no such warning is in the fine print on the website! however, I tried it anyway, the remote worked well for everything else but is useless to me since I mainly us Roku.

The remote is compatible with Roku Box's and tv's. Unfortunately if it is a stick the remote is IR only and Roku sticks require RF. if you need help getting the remote to work with a Roku box or tv feel free to call us for support 855-716-2573 M-F 10-6:30 EST.

Does not work with Apple TV 4K

The remote should work with all apple tv's using the correct code. However in some cases you have to unlock the the apple tv so it will accept IR inputs.

Didn't work with apps on Samsung TV

As soon as an app like Netflix loads the directional buttons do nothing, so that's useless. Otherwise I liked how the buttons were tactile and light up.

I apologize for any confusion the remote is work as intended the tv programing only applies to power volume and input. From your description is sounds like the streamer is programed with an overlapping code. BB One For All support

Not a fan

Does not work w/Vizio, AppleTV & HomePod combo.

They then said my TV is too new for it to work. Really? And they don't know what Firmware upgrade is. So they want me to buy the larger one, which is the last thing i'm looking for. Good by One For All once and for all.

I'm sorry to hear that you were unable get your remote working with your set up. We would not be able to upgrade the firmware of the remote but we do have ways to upgrade the codes on the remote. However there is no easy way to do it with you remote you would have to send it back to us and then we would load the code and send it back to you. This process can take anywhere from a few weeks to a month. The remote the agent recommended the 7880 has the capability to be upgraded using an app and would not be required to be sent in for a code update.

Unfortunately the fire tv is not supported as it uses RF and our remote is an IR remote.

Didn’t work right

The streaming power button wouldn’t power off the Apple TV and some of the functions for the LG TV wouldn’t work. It was also laggy.

So I was told to try this remote. It was very complicated so I returned it less than 4days of buying it. Too bad the digital remote was $200+ I would have tried that. So I ended up buying more Roku remotes.

Posted .Maggie, we are sorry to here about your experience. It does NOT work with Fire Stick at all due to the signal type. It will work with specifically designed Roku TV's and with Roku boxes.

Not working for TCL 32' TV

Generic controller Replacement did not Work
