The ONE FOR ALL - Streamer Remote is a dream come true. Anyone annoyed with the non-user-friendly Apple TV remote should immediately upgrade to this gem. Functions are easily accessed & the remote fits in your hand much more comfortably.

But several of these remotes to replace the old Apple TV remote until we bought the new Apple TV remotes now these are getting retired. They work well for what they are… IR is a pain so depending on your setup, note you need line-of-sight.

Back light remote makes it perfect to use in any lighting condition, easy to program and controls all devices connected at the same time with not input selection needed on the remote end. All remotes should be this remote.

I have been looking for a simple second remote for my TV. I have tried the fancy expensive universal remotes and although they work fine, they do not work as a second remote. This works perfect! I can keep one near my chair and another across the room for another user. Both can be used without problems. The buttons are similar to the OEM remote so no learning is required. The only problem is that this is better then the OEM so we fight over it. I have purchased a second for the bedroom TV!

I bought this remote for XBox + Bose Soundbar + TCL TV setup. It was east to set up and was able to fulfill basic functionalities. The bottom 4 custom buttons are practically useless for XBox. They could have easily been programmed for the X-Y-A-B buttons for xbox which serve as shortcuts in streaming apps. This is a huge missed opportunity in an otherwise great product.
It would have been nice if I could add an additional streaming device to switch between (I also have a Roku), not something I'd deduct points for.

Hello Tegridy
Thank you for the review and Im sorry to hear that the remote did not work for your use case completely. I checked the code and it seems there were no app shortcuts in the xbox IR code so there was nothing to assigned to the shortcuts. I will pass along your suggestion but with this revision your only option would be to program a real time macro. If you need help with that you can always reach us at support 855-716-2573 M-F 10-6:30

It works just like my Roku remote. The manual says that it is optimized for Roku and Samsung TVs which is what I have at home. I didn’t need a new Roku remote but I needed something new for my tv. It only works with adjusting the volume and turning my tv on/off. If I try to use it while running my tv only, it jumps over to my Roku. There’s no way to switch what you are controlling so it automatically uses my Roku. My Samsung remote barely functions and I’m still looking for a remote to replace it with so I can access smart hub and everything else.

Hello MonChi
I apologize for the confusion but the streamer remote will only control power volume and input on tv's the rest of the functions are used for the streaming device. This is how the remote was designed as it is supposed to be a Roku remote with tv functionality and not a tv remote.

For my Samsung Smart TV, this remote will only control Power, Source, and Volume. You can move around to select an app, but once in the app, the directional pad doesn't work. The only reason I'm keeping it is because it does work for my Sonos sound bar. If you don't have a streamer box and only use apps on your smart tv, stay away from this. Also, the code setup is a little tricky and cumbersome.

Hello Schmitty
I apologize for any confusion, The streamer is primarily meant for used with seperate streaming box's and the only commands we can guaranty working on a non roku smart tv are Power volume and input. In your case the Roku Code is close to the Samsung smart tv code but does not match when you go into an app for navigation. this can some times be fixed by putting the remote in CEC mode by holding the tvpower and amazon button down until the light blinks orange twice. However I can not guaranty that will work as it is a non supported use case. Hopefully this information helps you get it working. BB One For All Support

This remote is very well designed and is functional. I only recommend it for the minimal entertainment set up. Tv, sound bar, blueray player. Any more devices present, I would recommend the next step up

Its a nice remote. Downside is doesn't work with my bluray/streaming device. It was my fault. I considered my device a streaming device since i can stream Netflix and prime to it. But its technically a bluray/dvd player.

Wanted a second remote for my Samsung Smart TV. Got a Terk remote first because it had number buttons and both remotes were on sale for $14.99 on a deal of the day. The back but wouldn't work on the Terk in several streaming menus so I returned it. Without number buttons this one took about an hour to program. If all I wanted was volume and power controls for the TV and if I was still using my old Roku this would have been easy to setup. Because I wanted to use it to control my 8 series Samsung I had to program the buttons using my other remote. Took a while but it works great. Just wish it would control my Tivo like the Terk remote did. Do like the fast forward button that the Samsung remote doesn't have. Would only recommend this to somebody that is tech savvy and has the patience to program it if you are looking to control a smart TV.

I give it a 4 star because you still have to turn on the Bose speaker with its remote before you can turn the sound bar volume up or down. Works well with tv and with Roku.
