Nostalgic fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I watched this movie on my old B&W TV as a boy and wanted to see it again. Ray Haussen did the special effects, and was pretty much the state of the art at the time, but scientifically inaccurate in many ways. The movie itself, was made fron a digitally enhanced copy of the original, and look pretty good yo me.

worth seeing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a young and vibrant Raquel. It is always mentioned when talking about her works. The story line is ok but she makes up for it. Really scandalous for its day, PG-13 nowadays.

Revolutionary for its time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought overall it was pretty good, very few lines to remember but gave you feeling you were watching an old silent film. A lot of gestures and facial expressions, Dinasours were about expected for the time, a little hokey.

A BC movie in a D cup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is really only one reason to watch this movie - Racquel Welch. The story and special effects are hilarious for all the wrong reasons, but she makes the movie enjoyable despite it all.

International Version finally available
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One Million Years B.C. is best Remembered for Raquel Welch in a fur bikini, but it's Ray Harryhausen's fantastic stop motion animation that saves the film. This contains both the U.S. and International versions of the film.
