    I have played other types of One Piece games, and was happy to play a turn based RPG One piece game for the first time. I was glad when it was announced on Nintendo switch since the game had original being released on PlayStation consoles the previous year. Needless to say, the game looks beautiful on Nintendo switch and the colors are vibrant and lush. At the beginning the game seems to be too easy to play on normal difficulty and you seem to level up pretty much after every battle but after like 2 or 3 hours into the game, things slow down. It takes longer to level up and the difficulty seems more reasonable. The boss characters have much higher health and so battles take longer. The rock, paper, scissors gameplay is a welcome feature since it will force you to use all the characters in your party. I have not beaten the game yet, but so far I can tell that a lot of love, and effort went into this game. A must have for any One piece fan and a great RPG in general.

    I love that this isn’t just a fighting game, you can actually walk around and explore AND battle. One of my favorite games.
