Through the years I have heard stories that the CEO of OnePlus used to work for Samsung and when he left Samsung and started OnePlus, he said his goal was to develop a phone that was just as good as or even better than the Samsung and have it be cheaper. It seems as if his mission has been accomplished!

Great phone. Mid ranger with flagship specs. Love the mid ranger price. You can't go wrong with this. I'm using it on T-Mobile Network and no complains.

The specs here on Best Buy show wireless charging. This phone does not have that capability.

Not impressed with this model. For some reason will not install updates. No help from customer service. My 9pro 5g works way better, so glad i didn't trade it in for the 12R. 12R looks good though.

Do not buy this phone. Go to reddit or OnePlus forums and see for yourself. All Google apps lag. Especially chrome and YouTube. OnePlus software limits how much processing power is given to specific apps. 4 years ago they were "in trouble" for doing this. Apparently they're back at it again and worse than ever. People write great reviews here, use the phone and find out the problem and aren't allowed to leave a new review or edit a previous review. There is no solution to the problem. Suggestions are to not use Google apps. What a joke. Chrome beta works better, but it's buggy. YouTube lag is not solvable. Who buys an Android phone to not use Google apps??? It's downright criminal. Customers buying directly from OnePlus have even reported not being allowed to return devices because it's "not an issue." I wanted this phone because reviews online were great, specs were great, price was right. Again, if you're gonna throttle Google apps on an Android phone, it's basically useless.
