I just started using it and I already love this phone. I have been waiting for years and years for a mobile phone to have a camera that compensates for wide angle distortion on faces. The portrait view works wonders. The functionality is really fast. I highly recommend it.

This OnePlus 13 replaced an older Pixel that was having a few issues. I was drawn to the promise of quick charging and long battery life, it definitely does not disappoint. I have been extremely happy with the split screen function and side dock (which I use multiple times per day). AI photo tools are extremely useful and I've had great luck with the camera. Wish I had made this move sooner.

Definitely an upgrade from the OnePlus 11, with wireless charging, a higher IP rating, more RAM, more overall space, and better resolution.

I'm glad I went with black for the phone. Black is the only color that has a black camera bump and I like that a lot more than the silver camera bump. The phone looks very sleek and the software is super smooth. Would definitely recommend the OnePlus 13 if you are on the fence about it.

BASICALLY AN S21 ULTRA FOUR YEARS LATER - Good

Tested out the phone over the past few days. I'm coming from an almost four-year old Samsung S21 Ultra 5G. This phone is almost identical in size weight and feel to that, with the OnePlus screen being just ever soooo slightly wider (maybe by 1/8th of an inch). I was expecting this to be a nice bump up from the S21U experience based on all of the reviews online. I had tried an S24+ about 6 months ago, but let it go because there wasn't much of a difference for me. Well, the situation is basically the same with the OP13. If you currently have an S21U that you're happy with, there is almost NO need to upgrade. The screen clarity, snappiness, and camera performance between these two are nearly identical. In some cases, such as camera, I still find the pics from the 4 year old Samsung to be preferable, but I think the OP may have an advantage in the video department, ever so slightly. There may be very modest differences on the surface level, but honestly, 95% of everyday users wouldn't be able to tell one from the other just looking at and interacting with the front. The main reasons TO upgrade are battery life, storage, and performance, if you need it for gaming. Coming from 128 GB of storage to 512 GB would be my only reason for upgrading. Also, battery life on the S21U has degraded over time some, sure, but I get through the day still. It's just hard to justify the new phone price when the S21U is still holding up so well in 2025. My suggestion is; if you're not a hardcore gamer, find a refurb'd S21 Ultra, and pay 1/3 of the cost. I WANT to find a reason to keep the OnePlus 13, and if your phone specs are below that of the S21U, it would definitely be a worthy upgrade, but for my situation, I think I'll hold onto the Sammy for a bit longer.

I've always had Androids. Manyly Samsungs. I am NOT a fan of iPhones. Samsungs were my always go to. But when I heard one+ was dropping the 13 it seemed like a no brainer. I love this phone. It does have a bit of a learning curve to it if you're only use to Samsungs. But it is well worth the switch

These are great phones and I've used them for years. This latest model, OnePlus 13, has been great. I appreciate the extra storage space and the camera is excellent. I spent a lot of time comparing this phone with the Samsung and the only practical difference is the stylus (which I don't use that much and doesn't justify the difference in price).

    Beware of Open Box (Excellent)

This is my 2nd Oneplus 13 that I purchased from Best Buy in the last 60 days. 3rd phone purchased in 12 months from Best Buy. Maybe my last. The phone itself is great. The 1st one I purchased was brand new. I decided to purchase an open box (Excellent Condition) OP 13 from Best Buy and had it shipped, as it was priced well with the open box discount. I received the phone today. There was no charger. There was no sim door key. No manuals, just a phone and a USB cord. The screen protector was removed (damaged) and packaged with the box. There were significant scratches on the screen protector film, so I'm guessing that's why it was removed from the screen. Unclear why they needed to send it. Excellent condition, according to the website states that the condition of phone is "like new" and includes ALL parts and accessories. Only the original packaging (box) may vary. The packaging was a generic, open box best buy blue box, with condition tag. The phone itself is in very good condition with the exception of the scratched up OEM screen protector that was removed and thrown in the box. I tried to address this issue with the missing charger with their site's live chat. The rep had a hard time understanding what I meant, instead thinking I needed a claim because the phone itself was missing. I decided to take the package and my concerns to the local store. The customer service rep, after hearing my concern, politely stated that the excellent condition ONLY applies to the condition of the phone and despite what the site's condition description suggests, does NOT guarantee that accessories or all parts come with the phone. She went on to day that even with excellent condition, open box phones that even they can't tell what's included in the box. My offers were to return the phone for a refund and order another one if it became available. Also suggested was order a 2nd one and return one of the orders and keep the charger if the reorder included one. The store didn't have OEM charger bricks nor were willing to provide some sort of compensation refund for lack of accessories. I reiterated that despite the website saying excellent condition open box descriptions stating that all accessories are included that I should not consider that to be the case? She stated that's correct...and asked again if I wanted to return the phone. I'm debating on my options currently. Oneplus wants $80 for a OEM 100w charger if purchased direct from them. Ebay has them for $50 used. Wait for another excellent condition open box to become available and repurchase and cross finders. Buy a new one and spend a couple hundred bucks more...though I may just buy direct from Oneplus at this point. This is not a good look, Best Buy! Either train your employees better about open box description and what they include or update the vernacular on your site descriptions to reflect possibly not getting any accessories (like your good condition implies) on excellent condition open box items.

Fast, Polished, and Built to Last — The OnePlus 13

The OnePlus 13 (512GB) feels like one of those rare phones that doesn’t just check boxes — it actually makes everyday use feel fast, smooth, and polished in a way you notice immediately. Performance is easily one of its biggest strengths. Everything from launching apps to multitasking between heavy workloads happens instantly, with zero stutter. Whether you’re gaming, editing photos, or juggling dozens of tabs, the phone keeps up without getting hot or slowing down. The large 512GB storage option is a huge bonus too — plenty of room for videos, games, and backups without constantly worrying about space. The display is stunning. Colors are vibrant without looking artificial, brightness is excellent even outdoors, and the high refresh rate makes scrolling feel effortless. Watching videos or reading long content on this screen is genuinely enjoyable. Battery life is another standout. It easily lasts through a full day of heavy use, and the fast charging is almost ridiculous — plug it in for a short time and you’re back near full. Wireless charging support and efficient power management make it feel like a phone you can rely on instead of babysit. The camera system delivers consistent results across lighting conditions. Photos come out sharp with natural color, strong dynamic range, and good detail, while night shots avoid the overly processed look many phones struggle with. Video performance is smooth and stable, making it great for casual recording or content creation. Software is where the OnePlus 13 really shines. OxygenOS feels clean, responsive, and customizable without unnecessary clutter. It strikes a great balance between stock Android simplicity and useful features, so the phone feels powerful but not complicated. Build quality is premium across the board — solid materials, comfortable weight, and thoughtful design touches that make it feel like a flagship device the moment you pick it up. Overall, the OnePlus 13 (512GB) is a powerhouse that nails performance, battery life, display quality, and software experience. It’s a phone that stays out of your way and simply works fast, reliably, and beautifully — whether you’re a heavy user, a gamer, or someone who just wants a flagship that won’t slow down over time.
