Camera hardware is sharp there could be better software to drive it, minor focusing and sharpening issues in low light. Oneplus has a bad habit of releasing undertested software updates but the phone itself is great.

Very fast phone. Everything runs smoothly. Camera is not bad compare to other flagship phones. I use the 3x zoom a lot. I purchased the pine green color and love the matt finish.

So, I've owned many brands of phones. Palm, Nokia, Samsung, Huawei, and some oddball ones I can't recall. Every phone I've ever had has always been better than the last, and every one has lasted at least 2 years before I'd start to notice it slowing down or otherwise acting in bizarre ways. And then I bought this phone. It has great specs, and I feel like they have a good reputation, but my phone has had nothing but issues. Within days, and before I've even added all of my usual apps that my 3 year old phone was just using, it stopped keeping up. It has factory installed live wallpapers, and can't even display them smoothly. Why is my wallpaper buffering? That's ridiculous. I can't even play my pinball game because the screen isn't sensitive enough to know when I touch the left flipper. There's been numerous nuisances in the few weeks I've used it. One particular problem is the lack of a a PDF reader. Pretty standard these days, but nothing included. I've now downloaded 3 PDF readers, but the phone just keeps saying I have no app to open them. Ponderous. I seriously cannot believe such a costly phone, with so much RAM and processing power, could be so poorly executed. I would definitely not recommend it, and unless a lot improves soon, I doubt I'd ever purchase a OnePlus phone again.

Great upgrade, just make sure you price the accessories in advance. The wireless charger is a must imo. Make sure you get a second wall adapter for a secondary.

Before ethis phone I had the Samsung note 9 and it was a good phone. But the camera on that left much to be desired. I was already set on leaving the Samsung line of phones and try something different. I'm glad I went with this phone. The image quality on this phone is amazing.

Coming from a Samsung there was a learning curve, but a very easy one to get over I just couldn't afford the Samsung I wanted and this jumped out of nowhere with twice the storage for almost $400 less. The charging capability of this phone is also fantastic.

Pretty good phone really. Great specs. Good hardware and system. I bought this same phone almost a year ago and when it broke I decided to stick with it. You can get the 10 for the same price but this phone is better, honestly.

I am a first time OnePlus user but all time android user. The phone has been working great for me till now. I have not experienced any bugs or lags with the phone. The best things I liked so far is the picture and the camera quality.

OnePlus has been a journey, an interesting one at that. I owned every OnePlus device since the launch of the OnePlus One. OnePlus was crushing the market from the One to the 7 Pro. Then things took a bit of a turn, not for the best I may add. Now through the 8's OnePlus announced the 9 Pro. The 9 Pro at launch was not great. I experienced many issues with overheating, many issues with battery performance. However fast forward to 2022. Trying this device a second time around, OnePlus made significant improvements in Android 11 updates. Then, they threw all that away with Android 12. "Merging" (really overlaying) ColorOS with OxygenOS. Completely killed the experience 100%. The UI is lackluster, there's odd bloat, UI oddities like the "shelf" that simply just gets in the way of the dropdown menu. All items that seem to be after thoughts or maybe Oppo who now really manages and leads OnePlus didn't think at all. Just wanted to cut costs by cutting developers focused on Oxygen to focus only on ColorOS so both OnePlus and Oppo companies can minimize overhead within their software. Not a good move. Not one the community backs, well what's left of the community. For the same reasons, I'm out as well. Check out my review of the 10 pro also, which for many reasons scored lower than that of the 9 Pro. Thanks! Checkout my other tech reviews as well at YouTube.com/drewlipps.

Got this as a Black Friday deal. I went from an old iphone 6 to the OnePlus. It takes a little bit to get used to if you're make the switch. I liked the upgraded storage space ,speed and quick charge.

Phone was great for its price. However, I am not impressed with how it overheats and despite all the namebranding and advertisement with the camera, it still sucks.

Device itself is well crafted, top of the line flagship, Oneplus has upgraded the cameras on the 9 pro. Feels very solid. Nice upgrade over the 8t. Android 12 is still buggy but using the beta build
