Was a fantastic phone but had to return because after trying 2 phones neither worked for calls on Verizon. Very disappointed. Kept disconnecting from network.

Not a fan of OnePlus throttling apps on what should be a flagship phone.

    Great flagship

Many people as of late has made OnePlus out to be the "Villain" as of recently with their departure from "flagship killers" to actual flagships. While I did love the flagship killer OnePlus, I do enjoy the flagships OnePlus has been making as of recently. I've had the 7 pro, 8 Pro, and now the 9 Pro and the 9 Pro has been the most solid phone of the bunch. It has basically everything you want in a flagship, good camera, great display, fast charging, decent battery, and good software. I'd say this is one of the best Android flagships you can get in the US today, alongside the S21 series.

Upgraded from my one plus 5T. This is a very nice smartphone at a great price. It was very easy to transfer all my files, etc. from my older phone. Solid construction, veery fast with ample storage. Charges very, very fast.

Working well for the last 2 years and few months. Battery life is going down but still holds it's own. Will continue to use it for hopefully another year and half.

THE WORST smartphone I have ever owned

The pros: The camera is very good, and provides good quality photos and videos, even in low light. The cons: Almost everything else. Battery life has been horrible. It will be nearly dead four hours after being at 100%, and that is just with browsing the web. A lot of apps that run with no problem on Samsungs don't function properly on this phone, if they work at all. Once I had a black screen come up with Japanese text that asked for a PIN that I certainly didn't have. Somehow I got it out of this. I have been back to T-Mobile with it at least half a dozen times with issues that I never had with my Galaxy S9, and T-Mobile can't figure it out either. I allowed myself to be talked out of another Samsung, because apparently selling these was a priority at the T-Mobile store that I went to. Never again.

    Incredibly Disappointed

The OnePlus 9 Pro is the worst phone I've ever owned. The screen is ridiculously sensitive to the point that you can't even put it in your pocket without it going back to the home screen and stopping whatever music you're listening to. Pocket mode is no better because it's a pain to do the code every single time I want to look at the time or anything else. Windows that you open sometimes cannot be closed unless you restart the phone completely. The sides of the screen are also ridiculously sensitive and even with a protective case on it my phone routinely jumps back to the home screen simply because my palm barely touched the sides of the screen. In fact, even while typing this it continues to jump back to the home screen time after time. It also randomly adjusts the brightness back down and I have to keep dragging the brightness bar back to the right just to maintain acceptable brightness. I've never had a phone that's been this irritating to use and I sincerely regret my purchase. Also you can't simply turn the volume of alerts down to 0 if, for instance, you want to go to sleep. Instead you have to go to settings, scroll down to "Sounds and Vibrations" then go to "Do Not Disturb" mode and turn that on. Then when you wake up you have to do the same, go into settings, scroll down to "Sounds and Vibrations" and then turn off Do not disturb mode. Also, the OFF button is directly across from the VOLUME UP button, so when you try to turn the VOLUME UP your fingers almost always press the OFF button. I just don't get how this phone passed test trials? I really can't express all the reasons why I despise the OnePlus 9 Pro. The price is higher than other phones I've owned, so I thought it would be an upgrade. But now I wish I had my old phone back. I'm surprised I don't see other scathing reviews. I generally don't write bad reviews about anything because I own a business myself and it annoys me when people absolutely lambast a product or service and give it a one star rating. But this phone is an anomaly.

    Never Settle for a OnePlus

Absolutely regrettable experience buying from OnePlus. Within 45 days. I had an issue with my power button: single pressing the button will launch the camera short cut as if its been double pressed. I've been through 4 courses of troubleshooting with tech support, coming in at about 2 total hours of my time. The next step is 30-45 minutes of a remote session, from my computer, while I somehow have to find another phone to use since mine will be out of commission. I have to download the drivers and turn over remote control of my machine. If that doesn't fix it, I have to send my phone away for a number of days while its evaluated/fixed. I was not offered a replacement, substitute, or any sort of means to offset my inconvenience. For a flagship phone that cost over $1000, I'm livid. Never again will I stray away from the companies that actually know how to provide a high quality product with high quality service. Good bye, OnePlus and good riddance.

This phone was great until their latest "update"... Now I can't do anything with it!! No calls, no texting, & can't even get my mobile carrier info back on my phone to get my unlimited data!!! Don't ever get this phone until they fix the bugs in their latest "update"!!
