I’m very happy with the OnePlus Nord N30 5G. It’s fast, easy to use, and the screen looks great. The battery lasts all day, and the quick charging is a huge plus. I also appreciate the 128GB of storage and how simple it was to set up since it’s unlocked. Overall, this is an excellent value and a solid choice for those seeking a reliable phone without breaking the bank.

Security updates for 3 years and 1 OS upgrade - fine as most phones need to get replaced after 3 anyways
8GB RAM with expandable RAM based on how much storage space is available - a genius move for people who don't use much storage in the first place.
108 MP camera - OK, does excellent in good lighting yet struggles in darker settings. The support over time should improve camera qualities. If looking for a camera at a similar price, the A54 or Pixel 6a are better
Battery - great usage out of the box. One hour phone call along with installing apps for another 1.5 hours only brought the battery down 13 percent. This is a full day and a half battery.
Charging - the reason I bought this phone. For this price range, you will not find better and more secure charging. 20-30 mins and you are set
Snapdragon 695 5G - mid-range master. Power consumption is stable and a proven processor. Does not get hot while doing basic tasks which plagues higher-generation Snapdragon processors like the 8 gen 1. Great for everything except for top-tier gaming though what is to be expected at a sub-300 dollar phone?
128GB storage - I don't think I'll be able to fill this phone up but if I did, then expandable storage by microSD card is available.
Overall, extraordinarily promising IF you are okay with having an only OK camera but I am 100% happy trading camera quality for fast charging/full day+ battery and proven processors with expandable RAM and Storage.

I recently upgraded to the OnePlus Nord N30 5G, and it has exceeded my expectations, especially considering its price point. The Chromatic Gray finish gives the phone a sleek and premium look, and the build quality feels solid in hand.Performance-wise, the Nord N30 5G is impressive. The 128GB storage is more than enough for my apps, photos, and media, and the 5G connectivity ensures fast data speeds. The Snapdragon processor handles multitasking smoothly, with minimal lag even when switching between demanding apps. The display is vibrant and sharp, with a 120Hz refresh rate that makes scrolling and gaming incredibly smooth. Battery life is another strong point; it easily lasts through a full day of heavy use, and the fast charging feature is a lifesaver when I need a quick power boost. The camera system is decent for a phone in this range, capturing clear and detailed photos in good lighting. The Night Mode isn't as strong as on flagship models, but it's still capable of producing usable shots. My only minor complaint is the lack of wireless charging, which would have been a nice addition. However, considering everything else this phone offers, it's a small trade-off.Overall, the OnePlus Nord N30 5G is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a budget-friendly phone that doesn't compromise on performance or style. It delivers on all fronts and is one of the best value options currently available.

Powerhouse combo for the win win! I enjoy this phone! The battery life is excellent! Not to mention the super extreme fast charging you get with it! 8gb of RAM with the option to expand it in the settings is just butter! Im a freak when it comes to RAM and this hits the spot. The 5G option is much of a added plus feature. The display is a bit 50/50.. even at max brightness when I'm out working the screen seems so dim to me? You have dual SIM support or single SIM with the option to expand internal storage, NFC for contactless payments. You have a headphone jack which is rare nowadays. Here's another odd piece that I think is important to note, but the really huge camera's stuck out like a sore thumb, making this a really strange phone to hold. I like the fingerprint scanner, but then I don't, I like it because it's spot on when you need it to be, but when you don't you can disable the scanner as well with false positive scans of palm or other miscellaneous touches. The face scanner again is great but not just like the fingerprint scanner, in really dim or dark areas the phone may not detect your face. The resolution is great. Refresh rate is great. I've had a handful of people ask me if they could check my phone out, I say yes of course, and they comment that it's a nice premium feel, and ask what company makes it? I tell them OnePlus. Some of them even own iphone 14s or Samsung Galaxies, said this is quality and the texture is "Candy". A couple even asked if I could send them a referral to get promo credits and get one for themselves.

I got this phone, not for myself but for my Mom and Dad both. They have reported the OS is simple enough, and transferring from their old phone to the new was made really simple. My Dad plays a lot of PUBG mobile and has reported good performance while playing. My mom complimented the battery life, however she does not do anything taxing like gaming, only browsing applications and communication apps. For most, this phone is satisfactory, and the camera quality is wonderful (according to pictures sent to me by mom)
Would recommend for a mid-ranger! Good value!

The OnePlus Nord N30 is an excellent mid-range smartphone with a sleek design, a vibrant 120Hz display, and smooth performance powered by the Snapdragon 695. Its 108MP main camera captures stunning photos, while the long-lasting battery and 50W fast charging keep you powered all day. With 5G connectivity and a clean OxygenOS experience, it’s a feature-packed phone at an unbeatable price. Highly recommend!

It's a real sleeper of Android phones for the price. 5g 128mb expandable to 1 TB. Smooth fast snapdragon 695 processor. 6.49 inch that feels good in the hand. I do recommend to get a case due to the smooth finish on the back showing fingerprints. Decent camera for nice photos and videos. For the price, it offers much of all the android features you would need for a great phone. Comes with a pre-installed screen protector right out of the box. It has a 50w charger that is the fastest charger in the market. 0 to 100% in 30 min. I was glad to have purchased the Nord N30 due to all the postive reviews on BB and YouTube.

Very satisfied with this. Fast and camera is plenty good enough for the price. Using it on Red Pocket GSMT. One annoyance is OnePlus likes to make any "1" digits in the time red in color on the lock screen and there seems to be no way to turn that off. Minor complaint anyway. Phone charges FAST using the included charger and cable, but I don't use it as a rule because I think it may be harder on the battery.

Easily the best budget Android phone for 2023

To start off with, this phone has a $300 MSRP when released a month ago. That being said, I purchased it through Best Buy for $200 in late June 2023. Currently it's on sale for $150.
Let me be clear: for $200 or less, this is hands down the best modern Android phone you can buy. This phone is significantly cheaper than trying to replace whatever phone you're seeking to. And it's got most of the bells and whistles you'd expect. In my case, those are microSD expansion, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and 3 years of guaranteed updates. While not the most powerful phone on the market, I've yet to find a program it didn't run better than my 2 year old Galaxy A52. The update policy isn't the best in biz (3 years from release), but at this price point it's hard to argue (I figure once it's reached the end of it's update cycle I'll turn it into something resembling a Raspberry Pi). The battery life is what I'd consider a 2-day battery (assuming you're not using it 10+ hours per day) but will certainly last a full day even with heavy usage. This phone also includes in the box a 50 watt charger which, as advertised, actually does charge the device from dead to 80% in 30 min. I was genuinely astonished, and the phone doesn't even get hot while doing so.
My only complaint (compared to the Galaxy A52 5G it replaced which crapped out after only two years) is that the screen is not quite as nice. The LCD on the Nord seems washed-out compared to the Galaxy, but given the Galaxy was 3x the price, this can be easily overlooked. And while not really a complaint, one of the areas OnePlus was able to reduce cost was on the camera. Don't expect the same quality of photographs as you'd get from a $1000+ phone, but they're still better than what you would get just a couple of years ago.
Seriously, if you're an Android user who values expandable storage and a headphone jack, this is the phone for you. At less than $200 and with Best Buy's 15-day return policy you've got nothing to lose. This is my first time ever taking a shot on a true budget Android phone from someone other than Samsung or HTC and I've got no regrets whatsoever.
