Has face recognition to open. Screen is very sensitive to touch. Earlier versions easier to power off. Same button pulls up access code to unlock or Gemini Ai. Bluetooth feature is cleaner to pair with saved and/or multiple devices. Easy data transfer.

I only had it for a year, but it was a good phone while it lasted. Nothing particularly remarkable, but it's a solid budget phone.

This phone is amazing! For someone who always used iOS, this transition to android was great. It also works well abroad obviously because it’s unlocked but has the majority of frequencies in other countries. Good camera and good user interface.

It was OK at first. Puchased in July 2023 and by February of 2024 it's having issues where calls are rejected automatically which can only be fixed by restarting the phone. This is our second budget phone from OnePlus and we don't plan on buying another. The Galaxy A25 seems to be a better contender.
Battery life is good, screen and camera are decent. Not the fastest budget phone but also not the slowest. Lag is not an issue.
I don't like that some service from OnePlus you cannot turn off or block from notifications. Beats the purpose of an unlocked phone when a company keeps nagging about signing up for a OnePlus account.

A Great Budget Phone

Currently using on Verizon Wireless 5G plan.
Pros:
The higher refresh rate of the screen makes the phone feel snappy and responsive.
Despite being an IPS Display, the screen still appears to be vibrant with okay contrast.
The phone can easily last a full day with heavy usage, and can maybe last two with light usage (60hz + low brightness)
Cons:
Phone definitely is on the more "plastic" feeling side.
Camera is usable, but do not expect Pixel/Galaxy/Iphone quality
Speakers get loud, but are very harsh with no apparent low end.

Might as well buy this compared to the many other phones. It blows the same price range Samsungs/HTC type phones out of the water. BLU phones can't compete if you're on AT&T since they aren't compatible.
The charging is on par with current gen Apple. The super-voc 100w charging is mind blowing have had the phone a year now and no noticeable battery degrading.
I can fully charge mid day, use it rest of the day, wi-fi on for sleep with youtube or some videos playing and wake up with 20 or 40% left.

I had a Pixel 5a that decided after 18 months to short out and drop dead. I went into Watertown, NY Best Buy and checked out the OnePlus Nord 5G phone against a Samsund and another less expensive cell phone.
Considering the battery life, updates for an extended time, ability to expand with a sim card, and the reviews online & on youtube I went with Nord N30 4G phone.
I've only had it for a week, and I'm impressed. Is it as good as the Pixel, no, but I'm never going to spend over $500 on a Google phone again.

I bought the Nord N30 5G at its sale price ($149.99 with carrier activation) to replace my aging OnePlus 5T, so the Nord is not my first OP device. Here are my impressions from a few weeks of daily use with the Nord on OxygenOS 13.1.
Good
- Good battery life that easily lasts me (light-medium use) a full day, if not longer.
- High-refresh display makes navigation and apps feel snappy.
- General performance feels similar to my previous device and its Snapdragon 835 chipset.
- Good 5G performance in areas where 4G and LTE on my previous phone did not do well.
Not good
- Fingerprint reader placement and performance. The reader is located on power button, is prone to accidental presses, and is not particularly forgiving of sub-optimal presses when I try to unlock the phone.
- Unintuitive "Close all" button in recent apps list. It seems "Close all" does not close your most recent app, and it does not close apps that are locked in Recent tasks manager. Not sure why "Close all" would not close all apps.
- Accidental screen-off gestures and lack of configuration options. There are two main screen-off gestures: draw V to turn on flashlight, and draw O to turn on camera. I accidentally turn on the flashlight multiple times a day by simply picking up the phone, and the phone does not let you choose a different shape for the flashlight (for example, O) to mitigate this. I will probably disable this gesture.
- The screen and body smudge incredibly easily. I avoided body smudges by getting a case, which I would have done anyway because the back camera protrudes.
- Default screen protector feels cheap and sometimes causes semi-sluggish responses to touches.
Features I miss from the 5T
- 1080p @ 60fps video recording.
- AMOLED display.
- Better haptics.
- More configuration options for screen-off gestures.
In conclusion, the Nord is a sidegrade from the 5T with some improvements, tradeoffs, and troubles, but it brings a lot of value at the discounted price. Those swapping to the Nord from a different OnePlus device might miss certain features.

This is a fantastic phone from OnePlus. For the price, it is unbeatable in my opinion. Its a great budget phone, with excellent camera for both Video and Pictures. Video resolution is restricted to HD and not 4K, which in my opinion is not a deal breaker for me. The photos come out excellent with the 108 MP sensor.
The OS is pretty clean and easy to use; as good as pure android. The battery lasts for close to 2 days with decent usage, and can be recharged with the provided charger in just over an hour.

Very solid phone overall. Missing some flagship features but for the price of this phone who needs em. You have all day battery, super fast charging, a charge brick and cable that come in the box, minimum bloatware, use of OnePlus in house services which are pretty hand and it even have a 3.5mm headphone jack. All in all an amazing budget phone that out does most in the price range

For the price, this phone is excellent. Everything appears much more colorful on the screen, which looks fantastic. Everything you do loads incredibly quickly. The camera quality is super impressive. It looks good and feels well-built. It doesn't feel overly heavy. It's not difficult for me to set up the phone. Overall, this phone is a wonderful value for the money. Perfect specifications are unachievable for a phone in this price range.
