The Onkyo 6 disc player was excellent. Easy connection and met my needs. Now I can listen to dozens of music CD's I have since my cars no longer have them. I really like being able to preload six discs and either let play straight through or skip around.

Easy to set up speakers love love love love love them

Easy to use, changes cd's on the fly. Sound is great, easy to hook up. It is big (depthwise), but matches up with my Onkyo 656 amp.

I purchased the Onkyo 6 disk CD player to replace a JVC 6 disk CD player I had since the mid 90's. I wasn't disappointed! The sound quality is awesome, the remote is very easy to use, and it has all the functions I need. I wasn't thrilled about the green light above the carousel, but there is an easy way to turn it off. (It still lights up when the tray is open, but it actually has a function - it makes it easier to see the disk tray numbers in low light.)

Love the capacity to load 6 discs for a continuous great sound, however the units are not reliable as have issues with the last 2 we’ve had. Haven’t lasted more than a few years so buyer beware if looking for a long time investment.

I've only had it for a week, but seems fine so far. It's hard to find a multiple disk CD player. The technology is old I guess. But I have a lot of CDs my boyfriend makes for me and I don't want to loose the ability to play them. The only problem is the height and depth of the player is so much larger than my old 5-disc player that it is really too big for my media stand. I can make it work but I would prefer something slightly small as it looks weird because it sticks out far beyond the shelf it is on. For now it fits OK, but I would prefer a better fit. So check the dimensions before you order if your space is limited.

The sound is excellent and the tray carriage is quick and smooth in operation. I like to load it up and let the music play with my choice of cds for hours. The last two players I had were 5 disc players so it’s cool to have a 6 disc player this time. Both of those players (different brand) had issues with the carriage malfunctioning after a few years...hopefully this brand doesn’t have that issue. I’m very happy with this Onkyo player so far.

We have many CDs and our Pioneer disk changer died. The Onkyo unit is one of the few changers made today. I like the ability to change CDs while the unit is playing. The unit works well and sounds great.

I needed a CD player for the tons of music I still have on CD. This one was an excellent choice. Easy installation, sturdy, easy operation, great sound reproduction, nice looking unit. Delivery was ahead of schedule. Overall I'm very pleased with product and service.

After 15 years, my previous CD changer ceased working. I was fortunate to find this replacement at Best Buy, and it satisfies my expectations very well. It's easy to set up, works well with my other components, is easy to operate and sounds great.

I didn't think the player could make a difference, and I don't have the special connection for the superior sound, but it really does sound fuller! Just replaced my Sony (as so many others have said, because it died) and plugged it in. I read the instruction book and recommend it, I noticed lots of things people reviewed as bad, that you can find in there. For instance I noticed the green light can be turned off. I don't think the Random takes as long as some complain about. All in all, I'm very happy and I listen to music a lot more now. Just miss a couple of things from my Sony. No volume control on the remote! And it's very disconcerting to load the CD's. They don't go in 1 - 6. They can go two at a time, but not in order. Hard to know which one is in which slot. Same thing with taking them out. Buttons are not very intuitive on the unit. The "open" should be easy to get to as you use that and "disc skip" which is right under it, the most. But definitely buy it if you have CD's. Now if Best Buy would just keep selling the CD's themselves I'd be happier!

When our SONY CD-changer started giving us problems, I looked for a similar player in several locations. The ONKYO seemed to be the closest in style and features. I read several reviews and decided to purchase it. It was easy to connect to our existing sound system. The only problem was that it is deeper than the one it is replacing and does not fit in the shelf space. But by rearranging the components, we found a satisfactory solution. All-in-all, we are pleased with our purchase and hope to have a long time to enjoy listening to music through this player,

This CD player is very easy to set up and use. The remote offers lots of options. This CD player is very well made.

Onkyo is top quality and easy to set up. When I ordered this I didn't realize I needed to have a receiver as well, so I had to return it because I live in a small space and don't have room for both.

This was a replacement for a 17 year old 5 disc cd player. I'm not ready to give up my CD collection and the depth of sound you get from a receiver with a real equalizer and full size speakers. It's working great and I am enjoying it.

This is a great 6 disc player - you can play only one disc if desired, you can play entire discs consecutively, or choose random to play different songs from as many discs (up to the six) as you put in it. My only complaint is that the remote will only work if you also have an ONKYO receiver. So unless you are right by it, and want to go to sleep to music, you'll have to get up to turn it off. It's also pretty bulky, but I guess it needs to be to hold 6 discs. I would recommend this player.

Excellent value. Bought this CD player as open box. Looks new out of the box and performs very well. Easy to set up. Use it connected to and AV amp via coax cable to a DAC. Very good sound.

a bit to large as compared to Sonos equipment however easy to use and holds 6 cd's

I have had this equipment for ten days. It replaced a 25 years old Sony studio disc player that could not be repaired and Sony does not make disc players anymore. I chose this after some hesitation. So far nothing but good news. Operation is very smooth . Excellent sound. I like the ability of changing a disc while another is playing. One thing I miss with this player is the elapsed time and remaining time display that Sony had

I replaced my old Sony 5 CD changer with this 6 CD changer. I have no regrets! Great sound, great value, and works flawlessly. Why didn't I do this sooner?
