One of the best receivers I’ve owned. Had no issues so far.

The unit is excellent. The picture routed through the system to the tv is extremely sharp. The setup process is okay at best. It took a little tinkering around to get all 5 of the speakers of the surround system to work. The unit was an open box purchase and it was missing the calibration microphone. Still very pleased...

Crystal clear. Reliable. THX sound. No disappointments and easily the best bang fo the buck.

Mostly happy with it. Initial speaker balance fails badly, with closer back speaker much louder than back speaker further away. Interaction with TV can be frustrating due to HDMI handshaking.

I had to replace my original Onkyo and this one has been brilliant.

So far, it is better than expected. Gets plenty loud when needed. The sound is very good also. I don't game, but if I did it has all the modern connections.

Replacement for previous Onkyo that fried out about 4 months after extended warranty expired. Got it on sale, works fine, hope it lasts for more than 2.5 years.

Bought this on SB weekend, hooked it up TV worked and sounded great. Bluetooth music from a Samsung S23 Ultra pairs up and sounds great but after the first song the screen on the receiver and the TV still display the first song no matter how many songs you listen to it never updates or catches up. Firmware update did nothing. Chromecast hooks up about 40% of the time and when it does audio quality is terrible compared to Bluetooth which should be the opposite since it's running on WiFi. On the first go around with the 6100 everytime you adjusted the volume it changed the input or turned the receiver off. Second one doesn't do that but it still doesn't like my phone and Chromecast still works about the same which is not often. Spotify works much better than Amazon music and sounds like it should. We'll see what the geek squad says but I have a feeling this one will be going back as well.

Nice system that works as advertised. I bought it mainly for two way Bluetooth and Chrome cast hook up to Google Home. The Chrome cast only works with audio content not video.

Onkyo great brand amazing surround sound setup with my LG OLED

HDMI output dies after 2 years and 2 months. The warranty is conveniently for 2 years only. This was a $600 receiver. When it was working it did a decent job, however, having inputs randomly switch on you when you didn't want that was very annoying. It has a lot of HDMI ports. Unfortunately, it is now completely useless since it won't output video on it's main eARC HDMI OUT port anymore. Avoid this model ... and possibly this brand for anything new. Onkyo used to make fairly decent equipment. I won't be buying another one though.

Bought this to replace an old lower model Onkyo from about 7 years ago. Couldn't be happier with my purchase! Sound is amazing and didn't realize what i was missing.

Huge improvement over my 20yr old system. Adding ability of Dolby Atmos to my home theater takes the experience to the next level.
