Easy to setup and easy to use

I had ot hooked up and tuned in about an hour. Works great and sounds great! Best upgrade I've done in a while. There was a bit of an issue with audio return over hdmi, so I ended up using optical, but it works out good.

After reading about all of the features I was afraid there would be a lot to learn just to get this set up, but I was wrong. Set up was straight forward! Features, quality, power- all excellent! You won't be disappointed!

I just had them installed by the Geek Squad so I can't speak to how they will perform long term but I fully expect that they will continue to perform as they do now! An excellent receiver that I highly recommend!

Poor quality and died just outside of warranty.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HDMI output dies after 2 years and 2 months. The warranty is conveniently for 2 years only. This was a $600 receiver. When it was working it did a decent job, however, having inputs randomly switch on you when you didn't want that was very annoying. It has a lot of HDMI ports. Unfortunately, it is now completely useless since it won't output video on it's main eARC HDMI OUT port anymore. Avoid this model ... and possibly this brand for anything new. Onkyo used to make fairly decent equipment. I won't be buying another one though.

Not a bad product, but ....

The only reason why I took it back was the remote looks clucky based on the Denon remotes.
