Hope it lasts as long as my old one did.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.my old Onkyo receiver was over 25 years old so I naturally wanted another one just like it - and so far, so good. I am delighted with it. As to how long, time will tell. Have only had it for a few months.

What Happen
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This item has already been in for service. I wish I would have got the Denon. Since there recovery, they have not been the same it seems like a cheaper version of itself.

Purchase at your own risk
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this for about a month and smoke starting coming out of the rear top where the fan is located. I think the fan stopped working and the receiver overheated, went into standby mode and turned on again. Purchased extended warranty returned to store for a full refund. Read online where Onkyo has had overheating issues in the past.

Faulty HDMI Input For Audio
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this unit in refurbished “excellent” condition and it has been nothing but problems. The unit stops playing audio randomly when using HDMI eARC connection to my TV. I have tried multiple HDMI cables including newer spec verified and am still having the same issue. This unit was obviously not tested and not in excellent condition. Now it is outside of the return period and I am stuck with this unit.

Almost perfect.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The receiver is awesome. I'm not happy with best buy on this one. I bought an excellent rated open box. I did not receive what I was sold. Nothing was in the box except the receiver. No remote or paperwork. The item was a great price but not what was advertised. Buyer beware when buying open box online.
