This has all the power needed to push my Cerwin Vega speakers, and the added Sony Dolby Atmos speakers.

I LOVE IT! My only concern is if it will experience similar problems its predecessors had which led to me having to make this purchase. As I understand it that was a firmware issue I just was not able to get the firmware updated and gave up on the frustrating process. This unit connected to my wifi and updated firmware right off the bat so I know it can do it as needed. I absolutely love the sound quality!

Love this unit. Great sound and good power. got some surround speakers and i feel like im in the theatre.

Sound is amazing and like that the inputs can be renamed. Highly recommend. The only negative thing i will say is that their customer service troubleshooting lacks alot to be desired. Just had an issue where the menu wouldnt load. They told me to do a factory reset when all it took was unplugging it from the wall. I would have been so mad had i reset it and had to start all of my settings from scratch.

Great receiver that replaced a low end Denon S540BT where the HDMI board went out. Only gripe is the room calibration tool was not the best for example it put one of my fronts at 12' and the other at 6'. Also make sure to look at what the crossovers it sets up at for your speakers. Other than those 2 nitpicky items love it and has some great power,

While providing an array of uses, it seems sketchy in general daily use. Sometime will turn on minutes after being turned off. Doesn't see, robust. Real problem is the lack of quality competition.

Very functional receiver and very difficult to configure. Handles many devices. Still have been unable to get adequate volume from surround speakers. From researching other users it appears to be a common problem.

This receiver replaced an older Onkyo receiver that could not support 4K video throughput. Set-up was easy, connections on the back are clearly marked. The remote controller is smaller and easier to use as compared to the older model. Overall, its easy to see continuous improvement in their products.

I've only had this for a short time, and I love it. Bought the full set of Klipsch Reference Series Speakers to go with it. It replaces a roughly 20-year-old Onkyo that was still working like new but just didn't have the newer features like Dolby Vision or height for Dolby Atmos. The 7.2 Surround is great. For example, in the old Blu -Ray movie Avatar, you can hear sounds moving from the right rear to the left front as they go by. For music, you can set it to 5.1 or True Music, whichever you prefer. There are other settings as well. I'm still playing with them. The 5.1 plays through all speakers, and the True Music plays through the Front Left and Right. In True Music, you can really hear the separation. Try Bohemian Rhapsody from a good Queen album. Wow. If you are doing your research, shopping for a great surround sound system in this price range, I suggest this one.

Purchased this receiver on sale and saved quite a bit making it a worthwhile purchase. the features on the unit are outstanding and there are a great number of connections available. My only complaint would be that volume doesn’t seem to go as loud as one would expect for this price point.

Went back and forth between this and a Denon (always used Denon in the past with no issues). Finally decided on this unit especially with the price match to the same price crutchfield was running and my almost $400 in reward certificates. This avr is AWESOME with great sound and love the 9.2 allowing me to have 4 Atmos ceiling speakers.

I had a previous model from 10 years ago that I bought in England. Had to use a step up transformer to work here. Finally burned up. Replaced with this model thinking it would just be a lateral change. Unbelievable step up in quality of sound and imaging. Complete upgrade to my surround sound performance. Very impressed.

Im upgrading from an old pioneer i bought back in 2008. This new reciever will basically force you to use hdmi and the passthrough. Luckily, for my PS5, there is no latency. Other than that, sound is great and it has an easy tv settings menu to go through
