This receiver replaced an older Onkyo receiver that could not support 4K video throughput. Set-up was easy, connections on the back are clearly marked. The remote controller is smaller and easier to use as compared to the older model. Overall, its easy to see continuous improvement in their products.

Purchased this receiver on sale and saved quite a bit making it a worthwhile purchase. the features on the unit are outstanding and there are a great number of connections available. My only complaint would be that volume doesn’t seem to go as loud as one would expect for this price point.

Went back and forth between this and a Denon (always used Denon in the past with no issues). Finally decided on this unit especially with the price match to the same price crutchfield was running and my almost $400 in reward certificates. This avr is AWESOME with great sound and love the 9.2 allowing me to have 4 Atmos ceiling speakers.

I had a previous model from 10 years ago that I bought in England. Had to use a step up transformer to work here. Finally burned up. Replaced with this model thinking it would just be a lateral change. Unbelievable step up in quality of sound and imaging. Complete upgrade to my surround sound performance. Very impressed.

Im upgrading from an old pioneer i bought back in 2008. This new reciever will basically force you to use hdmi and the passthrough. Luckily, for my PS5, there is no latency. Other than that, sound is great and it has an easy tv settings menu to go through

The receiver has more flexibility than anticipated. Spotify works perfectly through the receiver. I highly suggest using the auto sound setup with the included mic to setup the sound. It made setting this receiver up a snap.

Its really worth the money and i been through so many brands and this model is bad pardon my language but it just fits the product. I have mone set up with LS-12 cerwin vegas and they can handle 300 watts but it was making me nervous cuz i had more volume left so its definitely putting out the power

The only reason 4 instead of 5 stars is because of not being able to see how it performs over time. The features give you plenty for establishing a satisfying sound. I am at 7.2 and have plenty of volume for a normal size living room.

Great home theater AVR so clean sound amazing and great experience but some issues on switching to Cable/Sat to Bluetooth and other input selection sound will off then need to reset my cable box tv

I have 6 Bose cubes hung on the ceiling one Bose center channel and two subwoofers. This reciever woke them up with sound that blew me away. The spatial sound is extraordinary i can hear every little ping, pop, and screech in the direction oriented on screen. If your thinking about it go ahead make the purchase you won't be disappointed.

This receiver Onkyo NR6100 is the best piece of audio equipment I have bought in more than five decades. I am driving 4 speakers in All-Channel-Stereo and the sound is amazing. I love it.

Difficult to set up. I use Roku for streaming TV and movies, and I could not get any surround sound connecting directly to the receiver input. I had to connect Roku to TV HDMI Input and set up an optical cable between the TV and receiver to finally get surround sound. Was able to get surround sound on Blu Ray with direct connection to receiver. After 2 weeks of trying to get it figured out, appears to be a good receiver.

Love the video handling capabilities! Sound is very competent for the price point. On screen interface is easy to navigate compared to other units I have used. Very well rounded unit and hard to beat for the price.

This is an excellent equipment. I like the simplicity, the convenience of ARC connection and the power. I currently listen at the default settings with volume at 40, which is just midway but it’s impressive.
