Heard the reviews on this receiver and I seen this product on Amazon for $849. BestBuy was nice enough to do a price match given that their price listed at the time was $1,300. I buy all my brand name electronics and appliances from BestBuy, Never an issue. This is the one time I wish I hadn't. FedEx delivered to someone else's house. Made someone else's Christmas come early and definitely ruined mine. Why wouldn't you have for this high-end product, a mandatory signature for this delivery?? I'm being given the runaround by these Best buy agents using their company pre-made responses. I was hoping for a replacement delivery but I was told the item was not in stock when it was in stock and could have been shipped to my local store in fact. So I asked for my refund and I did not get one been given the runaround for almost 20 days still nothing. I will no longer shop at Best buy

VRR, QFT, ALLM, 4k@120 No Problem, NO FUTURE FIRMWARE NEEDED IT WORKS RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. Comes with far more than i understand as the manual is 192 pages long. This unit was a giant step up for me coming from an old Yamaha HTR-5450 which indicates it was manufactured between 1993 and 1997 (we got it when I was in seventh grade). Takes some setup and technical know-how, but youtube video's make it easy and this model has a few to choose from. IF YOU WANT NEXT-GEN GAMING BUT YOUR AVR WONT ALLOW YOU TO PASS IT THROUGH FOR THE FULL EXPERIENCE, THIS AVR WILL GET YOU THERE

Not an rz50

I ended up returning this item and purchased an rz50 instead as the difference in price was so small for what you get. The difference between the two are basically the rz50 has a bigger power supply, a full set of pre-outs, 120 watts per channel vs. 100 watts, and the ability to do 11.2 surround with external amplification. I am a power user so the above features were just to much for me to pass up. Now good luck finding an rz50 as their website always shows "out of stock", I told my salesperson about this and he was able to order me an rz50 and have it drop shipped to me.
