Returned. Make sure you have Ethernet connecting
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I assume it works IF you have a modem with Ethernet OR a computer with Ethernet. It did not work over WiFi only. Customer service was completely frustrating

Great Product and Service
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works perfectly as advertised. We use just the basic service because we only wanted an inexpensive place to port our old home phone number. Ooma has a premium service for a fee, but we opted for the free basic. Reception is great, port was completed more quickly than expected.

Good wired line replacement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like many, I have an old wired phone in addition to my wireless. Ooma replaces the wired phone with Voice over IP. It is a money saver over the regulated lines. With the optional Premier service, you have several spam caller options that block most of the nuisance calls. It is easy to set up and easy to use.
