Ooma automatically upgraded my plan to Premier without my knowledge or approval, labeling it as a “free trial.” The catch? If you don’t actively opt out, they start charging you for the premium service. It’s a sneaky tactic that banks on customers not reviewing their bills closely. This kind of practice feels deceptive and predatory. I’ve canceled my services—trust is everything, and they’ve lost mine. To downgrade your plan, you have to call and talk to very unpleasant representatives who will not credit the overcharges.

The hardware stopped working after day 1, support was totally useless other than the usual "remove the power and plug it back in". High monthly fees.. just a horrible experience and useless product.

I bought an Ooma Telo from Best Buy in Framingham and the activation code was rejected. Maybe they sold me a returned/stolen one - who knows? Wasted 30 mins on hold to find this out. Was told by Ooma customer service to return it.
