Good product for a home with no landline. We shopped around to see the least expensive Wi-Fi phone option, and this looked like the best option for our family. It was easy to set up and has worked great so far.

We bought this to replace our land line. The set up was easy and the phone works very well. The handsets add a lot to the system as it's a one button to receive voice messages. We also got the premium service and had our land line number ported which took about a week. The call quality seems to be top notch.

Ooma is very good and you pay only $5 taxes. The only problem is the phones don’t have a quality call. I added an extra Panasonic phone I had and you can see the differential. With the ooma phone you listen the voice with a little distortion and sometimes I can’t understand very well the another people and that didn’t happen with my extra Panasonic phone

Bought this one to replace an older Ooma Telo with the last gen headset. The older headset was terrible and never worked right due to battery problems. The surface coating of the older Telo unit and headsets also became tacky and sticky. This new unit works as expected as is no different in function as my old Ooma. I like the new headset design. Hopefully the surface coating on the units won't get sticky and tacky like my previous Ooma.

If you have reliable and decent bandwidth internet (and a decent Wi-Fi network to along with it) this is the way to go, Service will be as reliable as your internet. Set up is easy. My only issue was plugging it into an unreliable port, which their great support helped me out with. Sound quality is good, not great, functions are very good and connections and signal strength are great, in a big house, as long as you have that good internet and Wi-Fi. Monthly cost is minimal even if you upgrade to higher services, which I recommend. Right now I have only two handsets, thinking about getting a third. But two have been adequate for me so far. It's easy to pick a handset up and take it with you wherever you go. Battery strength and stamina has been fine so far. Strongly recommend this phone.

Great home phone. Saving a lot of money switching from Comcast phone to OOMA. Just pay the tax each month which is about $8. Sounds great, voicemail works nice.

Our town recently was upgraded to Fiber: needed an easy, cost effective upgrade that preserved our (copper POTS) landline #. About as "plug and play" as you can get: phone # port to OOMA took 4 days: plugged in 3 power adapters, 1 LAN cable to the Router ... and done. Having a secondary phone # (you select on initial system setup) so the system was active, while the landline # porting took place - was very convenient also. If you select the Premier Plan up-front, the usual $40 porting cost is waived. You get Voicemail email notifications, call screening w/ "NomoRobo", etc. Call quality has been -excellent-. Zero issues. In 4 months the system cost will be "paid for" w/ the monthly savings, vs. previous carrier. Highly recommended!

Setup was fairly easy after downloading the “setup” app. The service works well so far. The phone has a lot of features, but the speaker phone is a bit muffled. Like it or not you receive a “free 60 day trial” of the premium service. It remains to be seen how difficult it is to cancel that. Regular bill is ~$6. If this remains the case I will be pleased that I spent the money and changed to this service from Basic Talk.

We bought this as a replacement for a landline. The telephone service is inexpensive and has far more features than POTS. These include ability to make and receive calls from a smartphone, robust spam blocking, and first rate customer service. You can make a call on an instant "second line" without paying for another line. While the Telo base station connects to wi-fi, the phones connect to the Telo using Bluetooth. We have three floors in our house. I place the Telo on the middle floor and the range is good enough. I have called Ooma for setup and the support is wonderful.
