This phone system is easy to setup, and works with regular phones. Good clear sound. You can also send and receive faxes with all in one printer.

We recently purchased a new OOMA after our 9 year old unit fried in an electrical house mishap. Have always loved this product and its service and will continue with it forever! We are one of the few that have a landline, but why not when your service is less than $10 a month! Sound is crystal clear, it offers an answering service and sleek design fits in a perfect nook in our desk.

Have had the Ooma service for 3 months. Works at designed. Easy setup and has mobile app control of account features. Not much to the device, so not much more to say. If you want just the basic wired service, works just fine.

When land lines get too expensive

After 31 years with AT&T I just could not see keeping my land lines with them. I had dropped U-Verse because it was unreliable and with with a different internet carrier. I ordered the unit on line and followed ALL of the directions. It took about 10 days to port my first phone number, I ordered a second unit and that is when AT&T tried to get me one last time. Make sure you check you phone lines and porting status daily. I received notice from OOMA that my number would be ported on the 29th, on the 24th my phone was disconnected by AT&T (this must not happen if you want to keep your phone number) I checked my porting statues and it still said the 29th, I called AT&T and was told they had the paperwork to turn it over on the 24th...I stayed on the line through 3 supervisors and was assured that it was not them. Hung up the phone and called OOMA, 3 minutes into OOMA looking into the problem my phone line was restored.....

Great functionality, easy to setup and love the blocking of unwanted phone calls. My only issue was with problems with the porting of my phone number. Got it done in the end.

OOMA has reviewed well so we decided to try it in our quest to minimize our need for cable companies. Setup was a bit confusing, but we figured it out. We were able to send a fax without purchasing the Linx add-on. In general it seems that features are available, but are accessed a bit differently than with our previous phone company. It does take a bit of research to find out how to use the features. Sound quality has been good.

I love my Ooma phone service! The sound is clear and I have had no problem with connections. My previous landline provider did not have this clear line - there was always static on the line or it just was not working. I love Ooma's features, especially the messages that I can receive and hear on my computer. The bonus...I save over $100.00 a month since I've switched to Ooma.

I replaced an increasingly expensive landline with Ooma. Setup was as simple as advertised. My number was ported over successfully in about a week. I opted for Premier Service which offered free porting and better call blocking. Having a separate number for professional calls unrelated to the house or my cell has been helpful. Call quality in on par with the old line. I've had no service glitches. Even with the base cost, Premier, and taxes, it'll pay for itself in a few months over my landline.

A great way to save money. If you are already paying for Internet you can get rid of your landline. Use your existing telephone and call all over the country for free. I've been using this service for over 10 years and I love it. This purchase was a replacement unit.

For $79 we finally got rid of our land line. Simply connect the Ooma to your high speed modem and a cable to a regular telephone. You pick a temporary phone number while for $40 dollars you can have your same number ported to your new Ooma. Ooma does this for you and takes about a week. All that this phone service costs is taxes…just under $11.00

Ooma couldn’t make it any simpler Porting my current hound number took far less time than they originally quoted Setup was as simple as it gets ... power, Ethernet, done The app is excellent Voice quality is the same as my previous phone provider It’s one of those things where you ask yourself “why didn’t I do this sooner” Looking forward to almost not having a phone bill ... just the fees and taxes that you seemingly can’t avoid !

I decided to keep my landline phone but I wanted to save money instead of paying $40/month for it. I did some research and Ooma offered a very affordable option plus I could keep my phone number by porting it. It was easy to setup and the number was ported in a week's time even though it said it could take about 3 weeks. I like it and love the savings it provides. The quality of the voice is the same as I had before.

Our Condo complex changed wifi and streaming service. Our home landline was provided by the previous cable company, so needed a new provider. Ooma was easy too set up and they ported our previous number in less than 2 weeks.

This unit is wonderful. Easy setup. Less than 8$ a month. Of course it uses WiFi. A downloadable app also. I just connected it to a cordless phone I already had. I’ve had NO problems. Thank you Ooma
