Clear voice sound and easy setup. Works with my slow DSL (1.5 mb) service.

Instructions for installation and setup was easy enough for a novice to accomplish it. It took only a few days to port my old landline number over to the new service. There has been no noticeable degradation in audio quality. Very happy with the purchase (and the future savings over landline charges).

Went in to buy Magic Jack and walked out with Ooma. The sound quality is absolutely the best. The only knock that I have is that there is a delay that occurs when picking up an incoming call. But for the money saved....I can deal with this small problem.

Clear voice and reception while using it. No complaints in that regard. Could make a call out and using my phone as if it was either a phone company or cable company. Would not know it was OOMA vs. these others.

This is a great product. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to setup and the customer service has been great. We were able to keep the same home phone number that we have had for 20 years and the process went very smoothly - it only took a few days to transition our home phone number from CenturyLink to Ooma.

We didn't really want a home phone line, but our cell reception is terrible where we live. So we got Ooma and it works great. Less than $5 a month and provides the security that we can always make a call when needed.

Meeting the need...

May be worth five stars but we have had some glitches getting it set up. It seemed to take a couple of weeks to "settle in." Sometimes there are sound distortions. However, we are happy to have the service and to pay rather little for it. We are hoping that it will meet our need over the long term.

This replaced my landline, saving $500/year. Setup was easy, customer support was good, porting my landline number was easy, and there is a wide variety of extra features.

The major telecommunications companies charge $35-$50 per month for the same service. Simply plug this in, and follow the wizards - easy to setup and use.
It only took 3 days to port my phone number - my wife didn't even realize we had changed phone service.

Best voip service

Great voip service at a low price. Voice quality is clear and crisp. The only thing that I didn't like was how long it would take to transfer my old phone number, which would have been 3 weeks. Getting a new number is free, however. I give it five stars, because it's a great way to have inexpensive phone service!

It works and allows for use of cells and tablets to answer home phone anywhere. We love it, works good. Can't pick up on cell and extension phone at same time, but if you think about it that might be hard to implement anyway. Better than what we had and more convenient, filters some of those annoying marketers.

I've had a Ooma Telo phone set for about 8-10 years and it has been wonderful. I wanted to upgrade to a newer phone. I bought the new one at Best Buy and installed it with minimal trouble. Ooma has saved me substantial money on long distance and international calls. I would definitely recommend this.

The device worked beautifully out of the box. Instructions could have been more detailed, but, with a little thinking it was easy to sort out. Voice quality is great, and, feature set much better than Vonage. I switched from Vonage because their pricing is designed to obfuscate.

Ooma works great. I have not had any problems. While I couldn't get a phone number for the town I live in I did get a number for a nearby town. Previously we had our phone service through AT&T over the internet. I can see no difference in service. I am saving a lot of money with Ooma.

Bought as a replacement of older model and setup and swap was easy and straightforward. Works great and the button layout is an improvement over the older model. If all you need is a simple VoIP phone, you can't beat this.

This is a great product. However, I noticed when I wanted to change my billing date, I was not able to do so on the date I wanted to choose. Overall great VIOP phone service. Thats the only reason for 4 stars for me.

I had stared at each phone bill, but was reluctant to pull the plug. A good tech-savvy friend recommended Ooma Telo, and I took the plunge. It works great, and costs almost nothing. Great combination.
Easy to install. Great tech support from Ooma, too. Good by phone company.
