Buy your cordless phone. Hookup the internet.Buy a Ooma . Plug in Ethernet cable from Modem. Plug telephone cable into Ooma. Register with Ooma. Plus in power cable. Wait 5 minutes. Bingo, you got phone service for aprox. $5 per month.

I switched our landlne over to Ooma VOIP using the Telo device. We're now saving $55 compared to the landline charges and fees we were paying the phone company.
It works well.
We only had one issue. I had to change the advanced settings, otherwise I can't answer calls.
I could have had customer support help me, but I chose to try it myself first.

I replaced a very old model with this one. It works great. I have been using Ooma Telos for many years and have been very happy with them. After the initial cost of buying this, you pay only taxes. In my case about $5.00/mo.

Ooma is an excellent phone service and very well priced. Stick with the premium plan… you get call blocking, a second number and lots of other cool features.

Bought this as part of our cord cutting plan. Easy set up, & old phone number porting. Just don't turn off your old service until it's completed. or you can get a new number. or go with the premium service with more bells and whistles. Definitely a nice phone service and system.

I changed from a Verizon home phone connect to this product. The hardware is great, software is good, and the sound quality is just as good as a cell phone. It saved us hundreds a year. Porting my old number to a little longer than expected. Ooma charges you to port a one time fee of $39.00

Ooma is truly amazing. I still can't believe we are getting this phone service for less than $5.00 a month. Plus it has a built in answering machine! Sound and function are every bit as good if not better than traditional land line.

Setup was painless, haven't had any issues so far. Only wish the ethernet cable was longer (had to buy a longer one to put it where I wanted). Great alternative to AT&T or MCI.

Perfect replacement for my aging Vonage setup. Not as cheap as MagicJack, but works with my Amazon Echo and the phone system I already had. Plug and play, worry free. They told me it would take weeks to port my number, but it only took a few days. Sound quality is more than adequate.

Not bad. only problem we have experienced is trying to call Home Depot. We can't get through to them, but it goes just fine with cell phone. Otherwise it is working fine and I love that we are only paying $3.84 per month for phone service. We wanted a home phone to give delivery people and those we don't want calling on the cell. This is perfect.

I used this to replace our U-verse service and it is saving lots of money. I didn’t select any of the premium ooma services so my monthly is just the taxes and 911 and FUSF fees (about $5 per month). Works fine.

Purchased as a replacement for a unit I had for over ten years that died after being hit with multiple power outages thanks to Duke Power's inability to provide a stable electrical source. Works the same as the original so I'm very pleased. Only four stars because there is no way to activate the device for a current account without emailing someone and waiting a few days. Instant activation, or at least the option to call or chat with someone same day would be appropriate for a company of this size

I had this out of the box and setup with very little effort. We've had it for a month now and love how easy and cheap it was to have a home phone. We have had zero issues with it and it gives us piece of mind for when the kids are home without breaking the bank.
