I bought this product to get rid of my landline and use my WiFi as a home phone. It works great. I’d give it 5 stars but there is a nominal monthly service fee that you have to pay that I wasn’t aware of when I bought it. Still MUCH cheaper than a monthly phone bill

I have had Ooma since they started and upgraded my telo when it could no longer support my ooma hd2 handset. Sound is better then previous using same cordless phones, can use all the new security products. Works great still happy with ooma.

Works well using existing land line phones but requires internet service. Inexpensive monthly service cost for home phone service.

We're really happy with this. It was easy to set up, We got rid of Comcast triple play and now just pay the $3.84 a month in taxes. The only negative is occasionally we will get an echo, but that is rare.

I decided to take the plunge and get rid of my local carrier (Verizon). As such, I bought Ooma and Obihai to see which worked best. Although Ooma technically sounds like the better product, the clarity and performance of Obihai is better. I also do not have to pay the approx. $4/month that Ooma requires. (Note: Faxing has not worked with either product regretfully. As such, some folks may need to keep their landline for faxing purposes.)

we spend $6/month to have a reliable land-line service in our house. The signal is clear, it works great, and the Ooma customer service is excellent. We've had it for many years and will continue to do so. Cell service in our rural location is spotty, so this is a great solution.

Ooma offers a good value to replacing the traditional baby bell phone service. Call quality is good, service has not gone out in the couple months I've been using it. There are some free or nearly free options out there, hence the -1 star, but voip is becoming a very competitive market.

We recently switched our internet service from cable to fiber optics and needed to subscribe to a separate phone service. Ported our original phone number over and the process was complete in a week.

I purchased this to start streaming and get rid of my cable of which my home phone was part of. Of course that did not work the cable went higher. BUT I loved the sound on my phone, it was so much better using OOMA I kept it even when I decided not to go to streaming.

This is a replacement Ooma. The original was at least 15 years old. The device and technology is great. Ooma customer service not so great. One has to call Ooma customer service and wade through their automated system to explain that you have an account and are installing a replacement unit. Took 2 days. Otherwise its working great.

Works very well. Was easy to setup and the online configuration makes it easy. Didn't try other options before so can't compare but very happy with it so far. Much better than getting a LAN line.

I have had OOMA in use since 2010 in two different states on different internet providers and there has never been a problem and voice clarity is perfect. I purchased this new system for my grand daughter. Buy it now.

I purchased Ooma after extensive review. So far it has lived up to the reviews. The phone clarity was amazing, the setup was easy and the Ooma app worked great on my IPad. The $5/month for basic service will save me a lot of money.

Great alternative to your cable company

I needed a landline and decided to go with this instead of paying my cable company monthly. It's been a great decision and has save me hundreds of dollars. Definitely recommend it if you need a landline. Besides the original price of the item, you pay monthly taxes which depends on your state of residence. I've noticed the tax amount increases a bit each year, but it's still worth the investment since the taxes are so low each month. Another bonus is their website, where you get a lot of functionality for free.

I switched to Ooma from a competitor (which I liked as well) because of the call blocking feature and blacklist feature since the competitor does not offer them. I could not be happier with all things Ooma. I have also bought 4 HD2 handsets since buying my Telo.
