I bought the Ooni - Karu 12G and the Ooni - Karu 12 gas burner, which I used for the first cook. I cooked my first two pizzas the evening I received it and they turned out excellent! I did use a premade pizza dough, which is cheating, but made it much easier. I cooked at about 650 degrees. Pizzas took about 4 to 5 minutes to cook (I didn't time it, sorry!) and they cooked perfectly. I have experience cooking at high temperatures and it is a definite plus. If you don't have that experience, take your time and watch a lot of videos. There are tons on YouTube. Would I buy it again? Absolutely! Best pizzas I've ever made!

Perfect size for making pizza on porch. Bought for son-in-law for Christmas. Gave it to him early---First day he invited us for "make your own pizza" night and they all were delicious!! The oven cooked them quickly and perfect!!!

Great pizza oven. Really does cook a pizza in 60 seconds. Love the duel fuel option. We use cowboy briquettes and mesquite wood chips. Gives the pizza great flavor and good heat. Just had the family over, made five pizzas. Fabulous crispy crust and great smoked flavor.

I broke in my Ooni Karu 12G with a pizza party I hosted for my friends, and it was a total success—no burnt pizzas! That said, there are a few things worth noting. Since I used wood chunks as fuel, fire management was definitely a challenge. After the first three pizzas, the gaps between bakes became longer than expected because the wood burned very quickly, and the oven needs a constant flame to stay at the right temperature. To avoid this complication when cooking multiple pizzas, I would recommend getting the gas conversion kit.

Fantastic! Got it for a wedding gift for my sister. Her family loves it. My 11 year old niece makes a dinner once a week for the family and she always makes pizza! They love the ability to build the fire or just used the gas burner. 100% recommend

Cool, but you have to be an extreme pizza enthusiast

I intially loved my ooni karu! But unfortunately i can no longer recommend their products after the handle on my pizza oven has melted not once but twice. Both times ive reached out to ooni, theyve been very helpful but ultimately say tough crap - heres a new handle. Obviously it represents a serious safety concern and in my opinion ooni should offer to replace it with a different model thats not prone to this issue.

Makes a great outdoor Kitchen even better.I have really enjoyed the oven and found that the charcoal with Oak to heat faster than I thought.At home cool down is fine but do anticipate if your planning a portable dinner.Make your own Dough and your the star of the Tailgate.
