We have been using our range with pizza stone to bake pizzas but the fact that it can only go up to 550 wasn't enough in most cases. We were just not able to get that Italian thin pizza crust. This is a very good alternative to having a dedicated pizza stone in your yard, but it does have a learning curve so if you get it make sure to watch some videos or be ready to burn/undercook first batch of pizzas. The oven gets very hot as intended and requires careful managing of the heat while cooking, moving the pizza frequently, turning down the flame but you get that authentic pizza feeling at the end so it is worth it.

So far so good...we had a few burnt edges on the first pizza, but once we got the hang of turning it, they came out great. Far superior crust to what you can achieve with a pizza stone in a standard oven. Very quick set up and easy to use Each pizza takes just minutes to cook. Looking forward to mastering our techniques.

It’s a great little pizza oven once you get the hang of it. The pizzas cook very quickly so you have to pay attention. Once you get the dough and the stone/peel transfer down its so easy, and the gas vs. wood is much quicker and convenient.

This Ooni Koda 12" oven was easy to set-up and use. I read up a little on the oven before first use. I expected to ruin the first pizza, but came out great. I used Ooni recommended dough recipe, (00 flour) and even tried King Arthur High Gluten flour (in NY style pizza). The secret was having the right temperature, properly launching the pizza floured peel, and turning every 30 sec or so to get uniform cook. Tried several topping recipes and all worked well. I measured temperature and was around 750-800degF Clean up wasn't easy and ready for next pizza. Splurged and bought a 12" perforated peel and turning peel while those were on sale. Registered on Ooni website for the 3 year warranty

love this pizza oven. it's compact with foldable legs yet can crank out pizzas quickly. will be doing more pizza nights ourselves.

Great oven for making pizzas at home. Oven reaches about 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Makes pizzas in about 1 minute. Takes time for technique, bit once you get it pizzas are awesome! Make sure to spin pizzas regularly. Do not put pizza too close to rear of oven where burner is. Get a infrared thermometer, test oven temp. Wait till stone is about 700 degrees in the center or the top will cook before the bottom. My trick is to put pizza crust in the oven for a few seconds before making the pizza to toast/brown the crust. Then make the pizza and finish baking for about a minute.

This is such a fun cooking tool! If you've ever had neopolitan pizza from a restaurant that cooks at really high heat, you know how yummy they can be. The Ooni Koda, with some practice, allows you to recreate those tastes at home, with the potential to use any toppings you want. It does take some practice to learn how to balance how many toppings to add and how long to leave the pizza in place before turning it to prevent over-charring your pie. After a few tries though, you really start to get the hang of it and the results are great! I also really like how lightweight and portable this pizza oven is. You can easily take a friend's place and I'm already thinking about tailgating with this thing.

Our new favorite gadget! We have used this for just our family and when friends are over. It’s so easy after you get the hang out it and cooks so fast! Must have!

We love our pizza oven! It’s easy to use. It does not breakdown so storage can be a little tricky. It warms in about 5 minutes. We use a few times a month for pas, steaks, and veggies!

This pizza oven is awesome! Learning how to cook properly took a few attempts, but the oven itself works fine. I'd recommend getting the unit with the glass door though.. Not being able to see the pizza with the door closed isn't ideal
