check Youtube videos https://youtu.be/TAaKq2HP69w Projected pictures look eye rich in color, brightness and most impressively great contrast despite the ambient light around Arizona. Take artificial lights with no problems , so if you have lights on and control your ambient lights from the windows the screen retained brightness and colour vibrancy and you have a very watchable picture. Although really depents on the UST projector you are using. Vava is very bright projector, i bet the Optima P1 perform the same or even better with this screen. with the lights out the experience is amazing with beutifull contrast levels and colors check. It was easy to build, take you 1 hr to 2 hrs.

If you have an ultra short throw projector this is a must if you want to use this in a place that has any ambient light. All of my friends came over for a PPV fight last night and were amazed at the picture quality and size. the picture I took does not do it justice.

I have been using this screen for a few weeks now with my ultra-short-throw projector. It has lived up to my expectations. Images are clear and bright. Even when there is a little ambient light. It does get a little dim when there is a lot of light in the room but the image is still watchable. May work better with a brighter projector. I was able to put the screen together and hang it on my own. I'm really enjoying the screen. 100" without hauling in a 100" TV.

Using it with the VAVA UST projector and it's just great picture quality is like watching a TV. I was using a regular screen, and after using this one, I was amazed at how much different the picture quality was!!

The screen works well in my bright basement, even with an overhead light pretty close to the screen. My one issue is some wrinkling that has started in the corners. I may have to take it down a re-stretch the screen. I'm not sure if the had to do with seasonal temp changes in the basement, or failure of a spring or other material.

Nice screen, setup in about an hour. 2 people needed to setup/assemble properly. Make sure you place the support bar before securing screen. Once finished setting up the screen it seemed wobbly (wouldn'tsit flush against the wall. Depending on what projector you use it might or might not affect the picture.

Excellent addition. The difference between the and a standard screen is dramatic. Washout or fade is minimal in overhead lite conditions.

Very well designed and the results are just gorgeous. High quality materials, solid aluminum frame and a very thin bezel. I wish it had a better way to actually hang on the wall, that part is tricky. Well worth the money though if you have the correct projector.

My only complaint is that I want the 120" version now. This screen makes my Optoma P2 into a day time 100" tv.

Nice CLR/ALR screen for your UST

I've owned a Epson UST for two years and was using a plain white fixed screen. For most viewing this worked fine but during the day the image would look washed out sometimes. I recently upgraded to the Optoma P1 and since I had to move the screen anyways, I thought it was time to get an ALR type screen. I shopped around and was strongly leaning towards the Elite screens but then this Optoma went on sale and the price was $300 less than the Elite. When it arrived in a 8' tall box I was surprised to see that the top and bottom rail was one piece of aluminum. The two other screens I've owned always had a seam in the middle with a bar to connect them. This made the screen very rigid with no flex. The material went on fine although you will need to install about 100 small springs to tension the screen and the thin border frame. My only gripe is the mounting brackets are pretty sad, particularly the way the bottom brackets just have to slide up and down when you're mounting it. It doesn't work well and wasn't well thought out. Pro tip, after you assemble the frame, but before you put the screen material on, do all your projector alignments and mounting work. It's much easier to align the brackets and drill your brackets without the material in the way. Then once you have it perfect, take it down and attach the material. Picture wise, the material works as advertised. Daytime viewing is great now and nighttime still pops with the Optoma. Value wise if you can pick this screen up on sale under five bills, it's one the best values you will find in a ALR screen. You can easily spend double this price on other brands.
