It is not noticeable when used with a projection screen with black frame and does not affect picture quality. These projectors display high-quality HD resolution and will perform as expected. I wanted a big screen with good quality, and I can say this projector delivers. The picture quality is unbelievable, I mean for 600 bucks you can't beat it. Full 1080p HD. It is also 3D ready. I use it for playing video games on my Xbox one, and it is amazing. The input lag is not noticeable. Every movement is exact. I'm very pleased with this. The game picture quality is great. You wouldn't even know you're playing on a projector. It's very bright, will light up a dark room easily. Picture quality doesn't suffer with adequate lighting. But as with any projector ofcorse it's better in a dark room, but still looks great with the lights on. Great for watching movies. The colors are very rich and bright. Truly it's like your watching movies or playing games on a HD tv. I recommend this projector to anyone who wants to game on a big screen or anyone who wants to watch movies inside or outside. The amount of light this projector puts out is sufficient enough to use just about anywhere. Also, just like any projector, I would recommend a external sound source. Maybe a sound bar or surround sound. With that you're golden, you'll forget your watching movies at home. Very very pleased with this projector. I would 100% buy another one. This one was a huge upgrade from the one I had before. Night and day difference all around. Do your reasearch if you're thinking about buying a projector. For this price bracket, I don't think there's a better one. If you have any questions I'll try to do my best to respond quickly and answer any questions you may have.

A good projector but not easy to set up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It is a pretty decent projector. It is sufficiently bright(not great), colors are good, blacks are great. The fan noise is not that bad compared to some other projectors. Its compact for its size. Setting it up on the ceiling is pain, it has just vertical keystone correction, no lens shift, no H-keystone, no easy corner set up. I could not get it lined up to my screen even after spending a lot of time. The remote feels cheap too. While I would not ding it for having a cheap remote as it has the lower price, the set up should not be this difficult, especially the software part. It is going back as it does not serve the purpose for me, however, if someone wants to use it as a desktop projector, it will work good.
