I purchased this because it has the smaller round head. I have it attached to my iPhone so I can use the brushing guidance through the app. One note, I also use the Sonicare Diamondclean 9700. The Oral-B iO 9 is good but it has several issues.
1. The battery life is not great. After a single clean, it goes from 100% down to around 91%.
2. The app doesn't track the brush location very well. This has been mentioned on a few videos on YouTube. I'll have the brush in the top front and it keeps jumping to top left or top right.
3. The brush heads have slots cut into them which causes the toothpaste to drip through to the brush head base which ultimately runs down my hand and arm.
The brush appears to do a good job cleaning (again, i use the Sonicare right after I use the Oral-B so I can't say which one is doing a better job.)
Also, the Oral-B only comes with 1 type of head. The Sonicare has Gum Health, Plaque, Whitening, Toungue Care, etc.)

Great toothbrush cleans your teeth very well and has a setting for different types of cleaning. Comes with a charger for home and the travel case can also charge the toothbrush.

Love it! I had an older Oral B 7000, and the way this motor works is incredible, more smooth. I love the timer on the screen, it gives you a smiley face if you brush for at least 1:30 seconds. The pressure sensor is another favorite. The tongue cleaning mode another plus!
When I first started using this, my gums were a little sensitive so I used the sensitive and extra sensitive modes. Anyway, I love this toothbrush.

Was this worth $300? Yes, my teeth feel dentist clean after every session and that’s priceless. However, I’m not convinced it sets itself apart from cheaper Oral B models enough to justify its price hike. The app is awesome, and the brush’s build quality is fantastic. Overall, 4.5/5 purchase.

I have used several products like the Oral B I/O toothbrush including Braun Oral B toothbrushes from many years ago. I have also tried the major competitor to this toothbrush.
I found it hard to believe that Oral B could have made that much of an improvement on their previous product. This replaces a Braun Oral B toothbrush from the late 1990s to early 2000s.
I highly recommend this toothbrush. I cannot compare it to the Series 7 & 8, but I would think they are similar.
I also recommend purchasing this item through Best Buy because if there is a problem you can always walk in and get help.

Surprisingly enjoy this. The directions in the app make it easier to see where you need to focus your brushing although unfortunately it’s not perfect.

I've used a Sonicare toothbrush most of my adult life, and decided to try OralB due to some reviews I read online. I prefer the OralB for the way it gives feedback - changing the color of the lighted ring to tell you if you're pressure is just right or too hard. I like the app it comes with too (it's superior to the Sonicare in a few ways), but I rarely have my phone next to me when I'm brushing my teeth. I only wish it had a UV light for the brush head, like the Sonicare did. You have to let it dry upright (separate from the brush handle).

A Father’s Day gift for my husband as he needed an upgrade from his old OralB toothbrush as I have this one is it is like visiting the hygienist everytime I brush my teeth.

I absolutely love my new toothbrush. This truly has changed my entire mouth. My teeth are literally so much cleaner than ever before, and the tongue clean option is great as well. If my teeth are feeling sensitive, I can switch to the Sensitive mode. The charging travel case is very convenient as well. This is my first smart toothbrush, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The feel and design of this is outstanding. The quality is definitely there as well. Oh, and it also tells you Good Morning and Good Night. I would absolutely recommend this toothbrush 100%.
Great toothbrush, though the cost can be quite muc

First off, I just wanted to say I love this product. I feel the way it brushes does better than just about any product out there. However, the only reason I couldn't give this 5 stars (and I would give 4.5 stars if possible), is that the cost is extremely prohibitive. I would be willing to pay $199.99, but $299.99 is too much. That being said, I had $130.00 in Best Buy rewards so that made it an easy purchase. The toothbrush comes with 4 brush heads initially so that also helps (recommended replacing the brush heads is at 3 month intervals). You won't be disappointed if you do purchase this toothbrush, the value though is a bit prohibitive though.
