I love this tooth brush comes with a different modes and extra sensative mode works best with my teeth i no longer get built up tarter on my gum line. I recommend you get this when on sale. The 9 series is a must if you want a good electric tooth brush the 10 series is better but more spendy.

A worthy upgrade over the Oral-B Triumph Pro.

TL;DR The iO-9 is a worthy upgrade over the Oral-B Triumph Pro. Being a current Oral-B Triumph Pro owner, I was skeptical about upgrading to the iO-9. I didn’t think there would be enough improvement, since the Triumph Pro isn’t that old and seemingly performed well. When the iO-9 went on sale, I became an owner. Having just used the Triumph Pro, I followed up with the iO-9, and I could immediately feel a difference. Like all the other reviews state, just like leaving the dentist office. The app on your phone becomes more useful now, in that it displays which quadrant of your mouth you’re brushing and down to the level where on your teeth: the inner, top or outer of the teeth with the goal of 100% coverage. The Triumph Pro basically just functions as a timer. Personally, I find the iO-9 to create less of a mess and rinses much more thoroughly than the Triumph Pro. I never make the rookie mistake of turning it on or off outside my mouth. The battery life isn’t as long, but it’s a non-issue for me. When the battery gets to 25%, it has the same performance. The Triumph Pro slowed down. The iO-9 is lighter and significantly quieter too, and the charging light isn’t nearly as bright which is bonus.

The most sophiscated toothbrush I've ever owned

Of course the "sophisticated" part is due to the Bluetooth connectivity and the brushing app. The brush and app can tell (for the most part) if you're applying too much pressure and track your brushing (if you're using the guided program). On a few occasions it wouldn't' track properly, but I might chalk that up to an old Samsung S7 or weird connectivity issues with my phone. The travel case doubles as a charger which looks good but haven't traveled (Wuhan virus and all). I'm thinking $100 of the price tag is for the four brush heads (like multi-blade cartridge razors these are the expensive bit).

Excellent toothbrush. I hadn’t brought a new one in awhile, since my current one began to fall apart, it was time. I didn’t know Oral-b had switched to the magnetic base. It is an awesome upgrade. Love the display on the handle. I’m not sure the app is tracking me right, but like it anyway.

To be completely honest. The first week of using this thing it is absolutely amazing. After about two or three months, you question if it was worth it. It doesn't seem as powerful anymore, and I wish the app was better. I don't think the extra modes really do anything differently. I think it should be cheaper. You can't pause it if you need to add more toothpaste which is super annoying. The lights are really confusing too after awhile you'll realize it.

This brush has expensive replacement heads, but does a great job and has a cool mobile app that helps promote good brushing habits via gamification. The sensors built-in enable you to see where you brush well and where you may have been missing good brushing. There is also a helpful light (green / red) that lets you know if you are using too much pressure — and monitors the amount of time in-use which is bad if too short or too long. All the data is kept historically in your mobile app to help you learn and improve. Overall, it is a great toothbrush!

Amazing electric toothbrush. several different setting that should have a setting for everyone. Personally my gums are sensitive so had to put it on the lowest setting until I got use to then adjusted up to the higher settings the more I used it. Toothbrush will ask you if you have replaced the head of the. toothbrush. Toothbrush also has different colors to let you know if you are applying enough/just right/to little pressure.

In the beginning, wasn't sure about buying this toothbrush but is definitely worth it. It cleans very well and has an app to tell you the zones and time to brush the areas. It has a lot of modes you can use as daily clean, sensitive, intense, whiten, gum care & tongue clean.

Been using this for about almost 4 weeks now and I like it. I like the features it has especially the pressure level to alert if you are brushing too hard. Overall a great electric toothbrush. Though I wish it was a bit cheaper.

PROS: Tracking. I purchased this brush primarily looking for a toothbrush that tracked my brushing. This one does it. If you watch the app while brushing, it shows your teeth (well, six teeth areas) and how well you are brushing them. I now brush every day for about three minutes. Before I got this brush, it was considerably shorter than that. And I was also more likely to miss spots without a tracker. So it improved my teeth hygiene considerably. Spinning. The spinning brushes seem to do better than the vibrating toothbrush I was using. But you'd better not start the brush until it is INSIDE your mouth, or it will fling that toothpaste across the room. Pressure monitor. I brush too hard. Always have. It wears out the bristles. Now the toothbrush reminds me of that every day with a bright red light that says "ease up on the pressure, dummy". If I ease up, the light turns green. Style. It looks cool. Cons: Drool. Toothpaste and spit are sliding down the device, down my hand, arm, and finally elbow. Every. Day. Maybe the shaft is too thick? Maybe it has something to do with those hollowed out parts on the shaft? Maybe it's just unavoidable. Or user error. But it can get messy. Phone use. I've gotta pull out my phone to watch my progress. How about making it easy to attach a little dedicated waterproof monitor? Price. This is literally the cutting edge of toothbrushes. It came out a few months ago. But...wow. Not cheap.

Love it! I had an older Oral B 7000, and the way this motor works is incredible, more smooth. I love the timer on the screen, it gives you a smiley face if you brush for at least 1:30 seconds. The pressure sensor is another favorite. The tongue cleaning mode another plus! When I first started using this, my gums were a little sensitive so I used the sensitive and extra sensitive modes. Anyway, I love this toothbrush.
