If you’re familiar with Ori and The Blind Forest, then this shouldn’t be a surprise. What is a surprise is the lack of quality. The game is extremely buggy. There are glitches that prevent you from progressing unless you restart. The game has significant performance lags (frame rate decreases and game stutters and freezes) that occur every couple minutes and last anywhere from 10-30 seconds. Sometimes, the game starts to lag and then just kicks you out to the Xbox home screen. This is on an Xbox One S. As far as performance goes, this game is garbage. It’s mind boggling that they would even put this to market in this condition. And if it has been optimized for Xbox One X, then it’s equally baffling they would introduce this for Xbox One S. If you have a One S, I’d recommend waiting until patches are introduced to fix the numerous problems. In the chance they can’t fix these bugs for Xbox One S, it will at least prevent your from having a very frustrating gaming experience.
