Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There was a burning smell when the blender operated for more than 30 seconds or so. Additionally, the blender lacks a locking feature, so the jar cannot be secured to the motor base before turning it on. As a result, the jar kept rotating on the motor and had to be gripped firmly during operation.
