Them thar toasters take a bit of abuse and our old Sunbeam model (also bought at Best Buy) worked OK, but the cancel buttons were sticking and falling into the housing. This is quite a bit nicer with a firm, digital type cancel button. It is on the more powerful side so when doing your first toasting, use a lower power level just to be sure. Of course you need to cycle this unit empty before doing any toasting as there is some manufacturing smell that needs to burn off.
