It is made out of the cheapest looking plastic money can’t buy and it looks it. But then again any plastic that is chrome or silver colored, whether it be a car or a blender, will scream “cheap looking plastic”. That is why I prefer plastic to be colored black. Also the blender in the product description belongs to an older previous model. What I received was a newer model 300. It has a glass jar and a all metal drive that will last until the next ice age. It is working beautifully so far.

Great for what we use it for
