Sturdy metal not plastic base and a real glass mixing pitcher. Plus it’s one that last 30 years and was not manufactured with built in obsolescence in mind.

The blender works very well. It is durable and high quality. It is efficient and can blend or liquify a number of foods. I am both impressed and pleased. In addition, it wasn’t very expensive at all. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking into buying a blender that would fit their budget.

I bought the Oster Classic Series 8 Speed Blender with Duralast as a housewarming gift for my friend's beach house. It was reasonably priced, attractive, good quality, and a good small appliance brand. It was a big hit and gets lots of use for smoothies and frozen drinks (pina coladas, frozen mud slides, etc.). I also purchased the protection plan for this product. All in all, a great gift at a great value.

This is one of the best blenders I have ever had even though they got other ones out there that's upscale I put this blender on the upscale motion and I definitely bought it from my favorite electronic store Best buy some people try it you'll like it and the best thing about it if you're not satisfied you can always return it in 30 days enjoy

I don't have much experience with blenders but have been happy with this one! We have made smoothies 3-4 times per week since purchasing a month ago. It does a great job with the frozen fruit and cleans up easily. Very happy with this purchase!

Great budget blender for basic kitchen needs...no it won’t heat soup like some but for the price you get a glass pitcher blender with plenty of power which is great for me.

Great product, works and blend like magic. I recommend this product to anyone who's shopping for a blender. The Oster products is amazing,but the only thing is it's doesn't come with variety of colors.

I bought this to replace an Oster Blender that has served me well for over 30 years! I have only used this new one a few times, but so far I am as happy with it as the older one. I know appliances nowadays don't last near as long as the ones from 20+ years ago, even if they are the same brand, but I'm hopeful. I'll update my review in a few years. That's if I'm still around!
