||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This automatic cork screw works well at extracting corks from wine bottle once the foil is removed. It is a little confusing at first to operate, you press the lower half of the rocker switch on front to extract a cork and the upper half to eject the cork out of the opener. Unfortunately this is not very intuitive (a small graphic would have been nice) but is easily memorized. Do not try to open a wine bottle without removing the foil. The device sounded like part of it snapped when my wife tried this. No har, no foul the opener worked fine after we removed the foil, it just sounded like an internal plastic piece broke. One time (out of many uses) we had a cork break off. This just could have been a weak cork, no way to tell. Over all we are very happy with this device. It works well and looks nice on the counter.
