I use the blender primarily for smoothies and it works great. Nice small profile that fits on the counter well in my small kitchen and looks good . Glass pitcher base is lightweight but seems sturdy. This replaced a very old blender so I was not used to the modern settings. For example for the smoothie, it does a grind to get the frozen fruit and then a blend to fluff it up with some air. Very easy. Clean up is easy. Makes a little or a lot. I have used it about 20 times, so far so good

I really like the power that lies with this blender. Love the ice feature for adult drinks and its overall great. Its a little loud but what blender is not loud...LOL. If you need a basic blender with a little extra, then this is the product for your. What can I say it works for its intended purpose.

I am really surprised. It works perfect and the best thing is that it grinds super well. I love preparing mole and I have had no problems making it perfect

The blender works very well and we like the pre-programmed settings and especially the one for the smoothie. We, also, like that it has a glass container, six blades, reversible crush. and that the motor is an all metal Drive with a 10 year warranty on the motor.

Omg I love this blender. I skeptical to buy because sometimes love price items don't work good. But boy I was wrong. I used on Christmas for the 1st time to make my pina colada and it does what it says. I was looking for a blender to crush ice good. What can I say my search was spot on with this purchase. I use my point to purchase it for the low. Look for you self. I found a blender that makes fine slush as the ones you get from 7 eleven gas stations

I hate trying new things, I really do. But this baby is awesome. Had to buy a lot of new items for my new house in a new state and I love this blender. Lots of options and blends great. Even I’ve no problem

Amazing blender. Finish is so glossy. Feels like high quality steel. Works very smooth. I am a big fan of oster blenders. And again Beat buy Geek squad is the best service team I guess.

All the buttons are in spanish! Wasnt advertised as being in a different language and nowhere on the box or manual does it specify this either. Very disappointing because this was purchased as a gift and was past the return window by the time it was opened.

i don't need a blender to be quiet and i don't eat nut butter. i just wanted something durable for blended drinks and this unit does a fantastic job crushing the ice and bringing in just the right amount of air bubbles to make perfect creamy margaritas and daiquiris. the metal assembly and glass carafe are a big plus - though the faux metal base doesn't look like the sturdiest. still, i haven't seen any damage yet. it is noticeably loud due to the fact that there is a setting that crushes ice by going a few seconds, stopping, and then reversing the direction of the spinning blades, then repeating those steps several times. bursts of noise are always more apparent as is crushing ice in any blender with a thick glass carafe. but it makes for uniform smoothness without liquifying your drinks. besides, all blenders are annoying and at least this one gets the job done in half the time. i have also used it with reasonably chopped vegetables and whole tomatoes and made wonderful soups. i had stopped by a "culinary event" in a major department store where they were trying to talk me out of $375 for a blender of lower wattage, only 2 more settings, a weak plastic blade assembly but a full metal base. should i break or crack the base on this unit, i can replace the whole thing a half dozen times and still come out ahead. it was a no brainer. (i also took advantage of a price match and saved $7) it is a little soon for a 5-star review but i am trusting this unit based on the 40+year lifespan of the blender it replaced. it still works but olive green went the way of shag carpet...

I am honestly a gourmet cook. I have had many blenders and food processors in my 60 years. My last blender was an Oster, and it only died because I killed it - I accidentally lifted it slightly so the motor tore off the black rubber nibs on the bottom unit that in turn move the blades on the pitcher unit. This somehow burned out the motor at the same time. Oh well, it was at least 10 years old...so I started looking very hard for a new blender, one that was powerful enough to grind my giblet stuffing (yup! yummm!) while at the same time chop up ice for my protein smoothies. I decided I needed at least 900 watts, and I also prefer a glass pitcher. So, it was either this one - the Pro 500 (900 Watts) - or their even more powerful Pro 1200 (1200 Watt) which had a smoothie attachment. Since I already have plenty of insulated cups and don't mind actually pouring one from the pitcher into the cup, I opted for the simplicity of the Pro 500. So far, after creaming a ton of hearts, gizzards, liver, onions, celery, and carrots (all boiled first, of course) for my Christmas stuffing, I'm very glad I did. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that we did kind of have to get to know each other. I started by using low pulse, and wasn't getting very far, so then I opted for using high pulse, which I was afraid would be too much. And actually I just switched my vote from 4 to 5 stars, because I just remembered that I had accidentally lifted up the pitcher (AGAIN) which killed my last blender (above), but the metal direct-drive on this unit was completely unfazed. I learned to go ahead and use high power pulse and speed for other applications, and I'm very happy with my purchase (so far). With the Christmas sales in December, I ended up spending less than half of the price of the more powerful unit on this one, and it was indeed a great deal.

The best blender , didn’t disappoint!!! At first it’s bit confusing but then easy to use

I wanted a glass container as the more expensive brands only had plastic and several reviews with cracks in their plastic containers. This blender surprised me. For the price point, I have the glass container that I wanted and it works great. The company saved money on the exterior shell on the base, but the important parts are heavy duty material. Great price too!

I recommend it, it's great for my shakes, it's the best, easy and simple to use, I love it.
