My previous blender worked for several years and then I accidentally tipped over the glass part and it broke. I didn't want a super duper real fancy one but did want something that had good ratings so chose this one. Occasionally I make a bean soup run it slightly through the blender to thicken it. The first time I used this one, I put it on medium. Because it has a stronger motor than my previous one I really had to hold on to the lid to make sure it didn't go shooting out. Anyway, it's definitely a keeper.

Purchased this on sale, I believe it was around $25 and normally around $60. It was a fantastic deal considering this is one of the nicer looking Oster blenders with a more sleek appearance, and works wonderfully.

Love this blender! Used to have a ninja and it had so many parts to clean. This one is simple to use, chops anything and all I have to do is put soap and water in it, turn it on and presto clean!!

Our 10 year blender went out and the wife was hesitant with today’s blender quality. We selected this one after some research and she’s happy with it. Gets the job done and feels durable.

Overall, it is a good blender. However, for the price I would have expected the base to be metal versus plastic. I'm afraid that after a few wipe-downs it will start to scratch. It blends as it should so I'm happy about that.

I was looking for a good blender that was faster to use than the Ninja I have. Mainly for smoothies or a protein shake type of breakfast with maybe some frozen fruit or banana in it. Works great!

Bought this for all blending tasks. So far, I’ve made smoothies with fresh veggies and frozen fruit and it worked very well. Like the special smoothie button which automatically pulses to blend just right.

Read the reviews for this blender prior to purchasing and it did not disappoint! I have nothing but good things to say about this blender from the variety of settings to the outcomes of whatever it is used for.

This is a Professional Blender that works just as well as any Ninja Product. If you purchase this blender, you will not be disappointed.

Great blender for the price! Much better than my old budget blender. May not stack up to professional models that cost two or three times as much, but it's not that far behind either.

This blender has been great. We use it daily to make smoothies and it does and excellent job. There was a reviewer that said that the glass jar is "textured inside" and will not pour well

This is one of the most awesome blender I've ever bought. I will highly recommend the Oster-Pro 500 3-Speed Blender. It worth your money and you will not regret it. I feel like a chef!

An awesome blender. This is my first blender upgrade in many years and I'm extremely happy with the reversing blade when making smoothies, I highly recommend this blender.

I absolutely love this blender it fits beautifully in my kitchen with the stainless steel finish it blends from fruit smoothies to chop guacamole to spice salsas. Easy to use.

We are fortunate to be able to blend and mix new recipes. The speed is great. A little loud- depends what ingredients its mixing.

Haven’t used this one yet, but bought it because we have another just like it. Putting this in second location. This has been a faithful workhorse for many years. Highly recommend.
