My last protective cover did not have this and my screen protector cracked after one drop. I highly recommend Otterbox phone protectors.

My reason for not giving it 5 stars is that, after just 2 weeks of owning, im seeing slight wear on the lower corners of the soft rubber.

Overall, still a tough case and a very compact design with a lip to protect that screen from potential dropping impacts.
