I totally love my Otterbox Defender ipad mini case. This is the only case that goes on all my electronics. I just bought my ipad mini so of course I do not want anything to happen to it. Otterbox Defender is a little more expensive but so well worth it. This case is not bulky and truly does protect your products. This one even came with a plastic back that I can put over the front of the ipad mini to protect it when packing it to carry on a trip. The only thing that I get concerned about is that if I am on my ipad mini for way too long--it does start to heat up and be a little warm. It has not been a problem so far and all I do is turn the mini off for just a few minutes and let it cool down and I am good to go. I will always go ahead and pay the difference in price for the Otterbox Defender cause I like the full screen coverage and the protection it gives all the way around.

Needed a sturdy case for IPAD mini that was purchased for my son. The case looks nice with the IPAD and it is also sturdy. Looked at other items that looked nice but could not protect the IPAD from damage in the event it was dropped. The Otterbox defender is used for all of our electronics (ie: phones and tablets) It is the only case I trust and use.

I have owned several Otterbox products for phones and iPads, and never had an issue with any of them. My youngest kid has dropped his iPad more times than I can count and the Otterbox case has protected it every time. Well worth the money for the protection, especially if you have a kid like mine who tends to drop everything he touches.

Great case for the mini iPad 4 Protects my iPad perfectly, I installed it in minutes. It does NOT feel bulky or uncomfortable while holding it. It’s easy to clean. I can’t recommend it enough.

The Otterbox is all it is cracked up to be. The reason I had to get a new iPad was because it had fallen twice on it's face and the glass was really crazed, and I had it in a case. The Otterbox totally encloses the iPad. I like that the front cover also contains a little stand to angle the iPad so it is easier to read. I have 2 issues with it. The first is the weight of the whole. Part of the iPad is its thinness and weight. The Otterbox negates that asset. The second issue I had is that the printed instructions to open the Otterbox leaves a lot to be desired. I used a YouTube video to be able to open it. Other than those issues, I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

I had an OtterBox case on my previous iPad and it protected it well. I traval with grandkids a lot and they all want turns on it while traveling or just visiting at our home. So it gets past around a lot and the OtterBox does a great job protecting it from drops. My wife doesn't like the bulkiness of the OttorBox so she uses another style case and has suffered 2 cracked screens. OtterBox on my iPhone as well. Additionally, OtterBox stands behind their products way beyond what you would expect with great customer service if you ever have an issue.

I've used Otterbox in the past with success, but I had chosen a different brand for protecting my iPad mini 3. It worked great, and at the time of purchase it was a great value. After upgrading to the mini 4, I checked online to determine which brands were getting the best actual reviews. After a few design changes by others, it became apparent that Otterbox had 'stayed the course' more, and it was pleasing most who posted comments. One brand was saying that the protection case for mini 3 & 4 were interchangeable, and I knew that wasn't totally accurate. Best Buy had a superb sale at the time I was looking, so that sealed the deal. It was mailed to my home, and I found it extremely easy to install my tablet into it, and that it would offer the desired protection. The buttons were responsive, and all outlets lined up correctly for things like headphones and chargers. I've [so far] had zero challenge with the built-in screen protector. I'd considered removing it and adding a ZAGG, but that has not been necessary at all. I'm pleased with the current experience. I dropped my previous iPad only once, and I hope that I never ever drop this one, but . . . if that were to happen, I personally believe I'm totally covered for impact protection.

We bought this case to protect our I pad as much as possible from our 2 year old at home. She has dropped it and grown it around quite frequently, and this case has never failed me. I never reviewed the Otter box because I've used them plenty of times before. I never have any doubt in them.

This case is so fabulous! You can drop it on tile floor with this sturdy case and your iPad won't break. We had these for our students in the public school system when I was a teacher and they are virtually indestructible. Worth the money. Definitely recommend purchasing this product!

We have used OtterBox cases for years because they provide extreme protection. Items in the OtterBox cases have been dropped, rolled and more and have never been damaged. This case has nice stand features as well, allowing for the ipad to be tilted in different positions. Very nice.

This case fits the iPad mini 4 perfectly. Comfortable no slip grip also. I love the stand, it's great for watching movies on the mini. Got it at BestBuy.com for a measly $40. Great deal!

This is a perfect case for your iPhone or your iPad or any devices that you choose to use. It keeps your items looking brand new scratch free you can drop it throw it against the wall and it still comes back looking wonderful. I recommend this perfect case for everyone!

Pretty much everything this company makes is well done, this case included. However, it is extremely bulky and add a substantial amount of weight and thickness to the iPad. I have no doubt it will protect well if there’s a drop, though. In addition, the rubber liner pushes on the charger when it’s plugged in so I have to take it off when it’s charging. I feel like, over time, the pressure will damage the plug.

We have purchased many cases through the years and I have stayed away from purchasing an OuterBox case due to the cost; it is possible I would still have my 1st generation tablet if this was the original case. Please note it is a little bulky...well worth it.

A little cumbersome compared to other products, but worth the money. My children sometimes forget they are caring a tablet and it "accidentally " falls to the ground. My case has some scuffs, but the tablet is in perfect working order. Thanks Otterbox.

Love the extra protection. Kinda bulky. But it kinda has to be to provide the protection. The stand/cover works well. Got it at a good price. $40.
