Bought the case for our 5 year old daughter. She is known for throwing things when she gets mad on occasion and this case does a good job. We also have apple care so it’s all peace of mind.

This is an excellent, top of the line product. Don’t waste your time on cheap imitations! This product could not be damaged by Bruce Lee!

I bought this for our sons iPad. He has special needs so he sometimes bangs on the iPad, slobbers on it or drops it. I’ve been using this cover for 5 months and it has done its job.

Definitely would recommend. Bought these for my 2 and 5 year old daughters, caught my 2 year old standing on the iPad with this case on it the other day and no problems whatsoever.

Great drop protection for my sons iPad. I really like the built in screen protector. It easy to hold and doesn't feel bulky. My only caveat is the stupid "kickstand" that comes with it. Its doesn't make sense to detach it and then prop your iPad up against it and when not using the stand attaches to the back of the case which makes it 3x the size and weight. I immediately threw the stand in the trash. Other than the stand its a great case.

This Otterbox is the best case period for an apple device. Not only does it protect it well from drops but all ports are easly found and usable.

It's does the job, not water proof but easy to get off and on the iPad and easy to clean. Also comes with a 1 year warranty from the company Otter Box so if the case does endure damage it can be replaced within that year.

I bought this for my daughters new iPad mini and it is great. She broke her last iPad using a much lest protective case, but this one seems to withstand a lot of punishment.

No case compares to the Otterbox when you give the iPads to the kids. Let them drop, spill, use their dirty hands, and all you have to do it pick it up and wipe it off.

Hands down the best protection for a tablet. Our 3 year old, 6 year old, and 8 year old have thrown, dropped, spilled, and stepped on their tablets and all still work.

I bought mini 4 but would not take outside untill otterbox arrived. i have iphone with defender case that went to bottom of 104 degrees hot tub at least 90 seconds. accidents happen , thank goodness all is well with phone. the case for ipad mini is probabaly not waterproof to that degree but i still use only the best. will let you know if water is a problem if accident ever happens . Still a nice case all around.

Case fit great easy to install. Good protection against drops

Purchased to protect iPad mini and has already been proven to be effective. A couple drops with no damage. Makes the ipad a bit thicker, but for me worth it...

My iPad feels a bit more heavy, but it is worth it for the protection.

we bought 2 of these for our children who are 3 and 7 due to needing durable. This product has lived up to our expectations in every way. Highly recommended.

This case is typical of the Otterbox series. The problem I have is that I purchased the wrong one. I needed one for a iPad mini2 not a 4. I like the construction of the Otterbox. I just wish they of make them waterproof. I know that they are saving that for the life proof line but the Otterbox series appears to be more rugged. That is the reason for the 4 out of 5

I purchased the OtterBox Defender case to replace an Apple smart case and cover to provide better protection of my iPad Mini 4. The case was easy to put onto the device and the rubber outer covering makes it easy to hold onto the case. I have found the case to be a better case overall than the Apple Smart Case and I am glad I purchased the OtterBox Defender case.

I needed a new case for my new iPad mini -- I had good result with the old one I had with my old iPad mini. Would not one any other for my new one.

This met all expectations for protection, and my expectation was to be Perfect. This exceeded all expectations on Value, due to a really nice sale (but would still say that at full price). The fit was like a glove, and the button response is quick and easy. I would re-purchase in a heartbeat, and will very easily recommend to anyone. Thanks, Otterbox. . . and Best Buy!!
