However, this is obviously not a case built to quality standards. It is a cheaply made case. The plastic fits poorly with the rubber interior piece, leaving area uneven and very sloppy looking. The pen panel is made of cheap plastic and held on by two flimsy nubs, which attempt to hold cover on. Other reviews document how easy the piece can break off and how poor the warranty is. Just visit the Otterbox site for customer service, but it takes you to a broken link. Most telling about the quality of the product is that Best Buys extended warranty for members doesn't cover this or other Otterbox cases. I take this as meaning that informed customers should stay from this case, Members of the Bestbuy membership programs should especially stay away, as it is excluded from the warranty guarantee. In the future, i will not buy anything they exclude from the special coverage and am already returning this and all other purchase from last 6 weeks that are not covered. Buyer beware is my recommendation.

OtterBox with removable side for an Apple Pencil

It has a removable piece so you can charge your pencil. It might be great for someone with a pencil but I do not have one. It falls off and is awkward to get back on. It was a gift so I didn’t realize its design. I didn’t want to offend the gift giver by returning it.
