It's my third purchase over the past few years and very happy with the durability. It has withstood the drops and bumps of kids and lots of traveling. The only complaint is that the stand does not let you adjust angle.

I don't trust myself. I have dropped my old ipad several times and never damaged it. It is the best insurance for the shell of my ipad! I do leave the flap for the charger and earphones open all the time as they are quite tight.

Not entirely what I expected

The last defender pro for gen 9 iPad also had screen protection. This one does not list screen protection and doesn’t include it. I don’t understand how the same model case can be had with or without screen protection and you need to read ALL the details to discover this. Still a great case, but a kids iPad without screen protection is kinda pointless.

I highly recommend Otterbox because of the durability of the product. I wouldn’t take my iPad out of the box without a case to prevent breakage if it were accidentally dropped. If you are going to spend the money on an IPad, get a case, because accidents can happen.

Outer Box protector
