This OtterBox fits my Apple IPad pro 12.9 perfectly. It has a cutout for the Apple Pencil 2 to fit into. Comes with a screen protector to prevent scratches to the screen. It's awesome!

This case is amazing and easy to put on. I’ve dropped my iPad a few times now and it had saved it from cracking and getting scratched.

No paper like screen protector is my only wish, he ce the 4 stars. The cover is also wonky as a stand, not really convinced they thought it all the way through. Other than that it's a great protective case that the pencil for the iPad works great with.

We use otterbox case for all our tablets. My kids have spilled drinks on it, drop it and the case/tablet is strong. Love this case. It’s a bit expensive but worth it.

I always purchase OtterBox merchandise for my iPhones but this case for the 12.9 iPad 3rd generation is too heavy for me. If the weight is not an issue, I would highly recommend this unit to protect your investment.

Otter Boxes are very over priced but when you buy the most expensive lap top you would be making a big mistake if you didn’t buy one. Protection is key!

I purchased a iPad Pro needless to say I wanted my investment to be protected so I decided with the otter box defender case and I was not disappointed the layers of protection and craftsmen ship of my case is second to none now I feel my iPad is truly protected from drops and anything else life has to throw at it I am also very careful with my iPad but having the extra protection of this case makes me feel at ease for such an expensive tablet.

I like how it separates into two pieces for less bulky use but snaps together easily when being transported or whenever full protection is needed.

I had an otter box cover for the iphone and have dropped it 30+ times with no damage to the phone, so I felt an otter box ipad cover was worth the hefty price tag. I have yet to drop this, but like that every part of the ipad is covered. It is time consuming to get it in and out of the screen shield/case, but I don't plan on removing it from the case ever. There is even a snap-in holder on the outer shield for the apple pencil, which I just noticed. Would highly recommend for your tablet if you're worried about damaging such a big investment!

It protects my iPad very well and I am able to charge my pencil without having to take off the cover and can store inside it

I am on my 7th iPad. I am now on my 3rd large 12+ inch size. These covers have protected my iPads from just about every drop I have ever had. I also like the screen holder to be able to watch shows or sports at a good angle and hands free. The only problem I have ever had is the unit to hold the iPad for viewing comes apart a lot. Then it makes it hard to fold flat so you can cover the iPad. Other than that it is really good protection especially if your going to travel with it.

I bought this case for the protection and it does not disappoint. The only complaint I have is when you place it in the stand it's either laying nearly flat of straight up and down.

This otterbox is great! It protects both the front and back of the ipad and also has a slot for the apple pencil.

One drop and it's all over! I don't know if this will totally protect it, but if you spend as much on an item as the Ipad pro, and you don't buy everything you can to protect it. You only have yourself to blame when it gets dropped. Don't bet against the odds. Buy this! Wife's last Ipad committed suicide by leaping off the bar in the dining room. I really don't blame it. It was a 2014 model, and after all, an Apple product.
