It is the best product to protect the iPad Pro. It not only protects it from drops it also protects the screen with its's built in screen protection as well the base also protects it like a closed mac book.

I received my iPad Pro and Apple silicon sleeve cover for Christmas from my wife. Although the Apple sleeve provides protection for aluminum side finish, I didn't like how slick it was and how easy it is for my iPad to slip out of my hands, not to mention constantly wiping finger prints that are left on the Retina display surface. I had purchased Otterbox Defenser cases for my iPhone 5s and 6 Plus respectively to protect my investments so I looked for an Otterbox Defender case for my iPad Pro on Best Buy.com, unfortunately, it wasn't available yet. I looked at all of the other brands available online including Amazon but nothing appealed to me. I received an email notification from Best Buy to let me know the Defender case was now available so I ordered it. I received it within 3 days to my doorstep. The beauty of the design and construction of this case with its built-in screen protector gives me the sense of security knowing that whether I accidentally drop my iPad or spill a liquid on the screen I'm protected. Did I mention it has a base with built-in iPad stand that will prop it up sitting at table for easy browsing or watching video content or set the iPad in a position for proper typing angle & when you're done using you're iPad you can flip it face down into the base unit and snap into place to give you the ultimate protection for you're iPad. I've read other reviews criticizing the weight and bulkiness of the Otterbox case, I say what ever I would rather put up with that then cry over a broken display by using an inferior made case!

I have allows been a huge fan of otterbox cases, and this one certainly lives up to the expectation. I have never had to test its capabilities but I want peace of mind knowing that I have protection if I ever drop it. Case fits perfectly around the iPad without hindering performance. All buttons and ports are still accessible. Charger port and headphone port have covers to keep dirt and dust out. I like that the one side of the case converts into a stand. The only thing that could be a down side is that the case is kind of heavy, but I'm ok with that since the protection is top notch.

I have been buying otterbox for several years now. Each time I have purchased another phone I get a new one. Except on my last phone I decided to try the life proof case. Within a few weeks it looked like I had it for years. My otterbox case from my old phone was about 5 years old and still looked really good. The life proof case didn't let me use my fingerprint and it was hard for anybody to hear me when I was talking on it. So I went to buy another otterbox and was so glad I did. I lots my phone and the next day I found it at my work in the snow. It had been there for about 24 hours and I was sure my phone would no longer work. I took it out of the case and cleaned it and the case all up. I waited for my phone to warm up because being in the snow so long it was to cold to turn on. Aft about an hour I checked it and was totally amazed that my phone worked perfectly. I love the otterbox so that is why I bought one for my iPad. I am very pleased and I fell safe taking my iPad with me everywhere I go with the otterbox on it. I am happy to give this good review because the otterbox is totally worth what I paid for it. I would definitely recommend this prodtto keep your phone or iPad safe.

I’ve be a fan of Otter Box for years now. All of my iphones, as well as this iPad are safely ensconced in defenders. I can begin to tell you how many times they have saved my technology. Yep, they are a little expensive, but they are cheaper than a cracked screen. In my case, about a least a dozen.

I'm a middle school teacher. By definition, everything in the room is accessible to my students. They are growing. They are constantly moving. They have to touch everything. They are clumsy. They are very clumsy. They are extremely clumsy. I need a case that surrounds my iPad Pro with heavy duty protection. This Otter Defender Case does the job well. It has four pads that grip the surface of whatever it is placed on. It seems to be very water proof. When a kid dumped orange juice on it I took it to a gym shower and hosed it off with warm water. The iPad Pro is still pristine. My Apple Pencil fits in a slot inside the case. It is easily accessed from there and I have not lost track of the pencil. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

I like everything about case, can put I pad in back pack, bike touring bags Ect.... Feel case will protect I pad from just about anything, also makes I pad easier to hold as rubber bottom is not slippery, will not slide off legs or tables Or slip from hands ECT...

Otterbox has been a leading tablet and phone case maker for years. Their products are known for unbeatable protection and a great warranty. However that protection does add significant bulk. I would recommend looking at one in a store to get a good idea of the size. If maximum protection is what you want, this Otterbox delivers, but you need to understand that it isn't cheap, and dies add bulk to an already large device.

This case provides the greatest protection of all cases. However, when using the IPad with the cover attached to the back, it may feel too heavy for some.

Easy and simple to install, had no problems, fit like a glove. Does not work with key board while installed. But never use one so no issue. Have no problems using Apple pencil unlike other reviewers have stated. I'm hard on i-pads but never have to worry about damaging them with an otter box defender installed. Once again a very happy customer. Would buy another one in the future.

This case is great as it does provide good damage control for my iPad minus the water resistance. It is very heavy and bulking so I will be purchasing a Lifeproof case when it is made available for its difference in size, weight and water resistance.

I bought the12.9" iPad even though I already had one of the older models. In my old age the vision is going and even though I could zoom in to Better read articles I decided to get this unit to make reading easier. It did! This now makes pages easy to read without zoom. Oh, and it is much faster than my older iPad, which means quicker page updates. And yes the games seem to load quicker. The only problems are the size and weight. Because the touch screen almost goes from edge to edge it was hard holding the unit in one hand and try to swipe with the other. The iPad detected both hands and instead of swiping I got the zoom function. Also without a case the unit seems very fragile. I solved both broblems by getting an Otter case. Now I have a non-sensitive edge to hold. However, with the case the unit is now kind of heavy.. but not that bad. I have sat for hours reading holding the unit without much fatigue. (Well I do switch hands from time to time)

It's bulky, its heavy, yes... but once you drop your iPad and you realize nothing happened to it, it makes this purchase worth it! Your iPad is very well protected in this case. Yes, it does make it feel bulky and yes, you'll notice it is heavy. Only draw backs. But it's worth the safety in return.

This case fits well and protects my iPad Pro 12.9 very well. I love the space for the Apple pen in the cover and the stand to prop up the iPad to watch Hulu while cooking or cleaning. The cover is strong and sturdy and makes me feel safe with letting my 2 yr old watch YouTube kids on my iPad.

First off I love the otter box line up and only trust otter box to protect my products. We have 6 phones and 3 ipad for our business and all of them are protected by otter boxes. I also have a 4 year old daughter and she can be a little ruff with them and they can handle the abuse. The iPad pro case is awesome with or without the stand but I find having the stand handy to cover the screen when it's being transported is cheap insurance and works great for watching movies or presenting something to a customer. And even works great for my daughter so she isn't holding it the whole time. Such a great product that I even waited to have another one shipped to me rather than to buy anything else for the second ipad pro we ordered a few days after the first one.

This case is the best in protecting your iPad. It also has a built in screen protector.

This cover is really giving extra protection to this device. And has awesome stand too..!!!

Arrived fully assembled; so required some trial and error to decipher instruction sheet to separate all the pieces. Reassembly clicked together smoothly, including the clear screen protector sheet. Pencil storage a plus. Adds weight but worth the protection.

Perfect fit for my iPad. A bit pricy but provides great protection
