Of course it is a bit heavy, but that should be expected from an Otterbox. I like the protection it provides, but most of all I like how easy the volume works with it. I also like the two angles it provides for watching video on it.

Necessary protection for your investment. Full functionality with every button. Fingerprint working smoothly. Front cover can be used as a stand horizontal and vertical. Makes device somewhat heavy...

The Otterbox works great for keeping the IPad safe in a rugged setting. I do wish it was waterproof.

Look, if you know the brand then you know they're the best. Spend the cash because you will be sooooo sad if you damage your awesome ipad pro. The armor is tough. There is a hard plastic cover for the screen, but don't worry it does not interfere with touch interface. The clamshell doubles as a viewing stand. The hole for the plugs are sealed by flaps when your not using them. The armor adds a little weight but not bad. If you can't decide then I'm telling you buy Otterbox and you wont regret it.

Definitely protects my ipad. No longer worry about scratching the glass or dropping it. Definitely rugged and sturdy. Another product that lives up to the Otterbox standard.

I thought it was going to make my iPad heavy and more bulky then what it already is but it doesn’t ! I love the protection and the cover doubles as a stand !

Excellent case This is by far the best case you can put on your iPad Pro 12.9 inch device the only drawback is that this case is bulky but that's what makes it so great cause if you drop your iPad in this case you could feel secure that it won't break I do also have the OtterBox commuter version of this case and prefer that one to the defender but I wouldn't put my iPad in anything but A otterbox case both OtterBox cases hold the iPad Apple Pencil

I purchased the Otto box case the the 12 inch I pad pro very bulky but it does the job in protecting my investments Love the screen protector also

I love this case...usually partial to otterbox for all my family’s iOS devices...after a pretty expensive screen repair for a device barely a week old, otterbox is truly a protective device for any rugged family.

I ended up returning it because it made my iPad Pro very heavy and bulky. I don't take it out of the house much, so it didn't suit my purposes. It provides great protection, so if the bulk and weight aren't an issue, it's worth the money.

Nice protection, but a little too expensive. Has a built in stand and place for pencil to be stored.

The iPad Pro is a great tablet, does all the things that the iPad can do only faster and a lot bigger. It meet my need for a tablet with a larger viewing surface. Great product!

The one i really wanted was not in stock had to travel 45 miles to find. Purchased it and it was on sale but as soon as i purchased it i knew it was wrong of the price. I did not say anything i was going back to return it. It was rather bulky and also price was wrong. I wanted to purchase iPad pro from best buy and was not in stock with 256g with wifi so i went to apple store and purchased what i needed. I did return it and purchased another cover from best buy was cheaper than otterbox and had feature that controlled the option of on/off when opened. Still was a good product just really wanted Life prof that was not in stock except on line.

This case is harden and seems to protect from minor drops just fine. Great if you have small kids you are afraid will accidentally damage your IPAD.

I only purchase otter box cases for my products. Rugged, durable, dependable and with the built in stand makes the purchase a no brainer.

If only I had purchased this case for my last iPad it wouldn't have broken. I feel this case provides better protection to the corners and around the edges of my iPad which need the most protection. Additional the screen has a cover to protect it from scratches. The cover is a bit expensive, but in this instance I feel it is worth it.

This has saved my iPad more than once from being damaged.has been sat on,dropped ,etc and still looks like new.

This case continues our history with Otterbox products. We've had them on all our iPhones, since iPhone 4 and iPads, since the iPad 2. They are durable, easy to put on and take off and provide the protection our iPhones and iPads need. Love these cases and plan to continue using them for our future products.

As always otterbox defender case provides excellent protection but they do make the device bulky. iPad Pro 12.9 itself is huge and the otterbox make it more huge. The benefit of portability is lost. Also, if you use otterbox you cannot use apple smart keyboard at all. So its your call. If you want to use apple smart keyboard then best bet would be UAG case. Its functional and works well with apple keyboard.
