at a premium price but it's worth the several hundred it will take to replace your precious iPad. adds some bulk so be prepared for a "larger" iPad.

This is the best IPad case I have seen. All others were weak in comparison. This is a well built with great design case, just like their IPhone case!

Definitely a sturdy hard shell that will protect your iPad. My only issue is how hard it is to use the screen with it on. More pressure is is needed to use only touch display, which means you don't have the sensitivity you had without the case.

The availability of Otterbox Defender products influences what devices I buy. That's how strongly I feel about protective cases.

I have used Otterbox products in the past and know of the quality of the product. Sales person was knowledgeable and most accommodating.

This was one of the only cases available that protects the iPad Pro 12" when I purchased it. I must say it as an excellent choice.

This is the second one I've had for an iPad and they are have never let me down. The case matches up perfectly with the buttons.

Thought the screen would be too big, but I was wrong. It's nice to have the large screen for surfing the web, and viewing pictures.

It was a little hard unsnapping the case that holds the iPad inside. You need strong fingers and at the same time be careful not to break it while taking it apart. The case is sturdy, does feel like it protected the iPad really well. The case have an attached screen protector, but If you look closely it looks like you have water underneath the screen, it just gives you that rainbow glare. Didn't notice til the iPad was off or when you look closely while it's on. Almost like you put a piece of glass on top of a wet counter and you can see the water pushed out but still have some trapped moisture. My Apple Pencil didn't glide as smoothly. The cover is a detachable piece. You can snap it on top or on the bottom. When on top it offers great protection because you can take it anywhere and know that any pressure to it won't damage the iPad. The inside cover, has 2 options to put the iPad on as a stand. The inside also holds the Apple Pencil. My problem with it was it snaps tightly in place, therefore it's hard to pull it off. I like that you'll know where your pencil is though. When I took my iPad to school,I find it heavy with the case. I didn't want to carry the cover at times just so it be lighter. When I write, my hand is on the edge. I feel that it was a bit bulky. I didn't want the lid underneath because it rises the iPad up to high for my liking and comfort. I like the grip on both pieces. It wouldn't slide or move on my desk. I needed something with an easy access to my iPad and the pencil. This combination case was too heavy for me. I was getting carpal tunnel when holding it while surfing online or writing while standing. I can't get to the Pencil as fast as I want to. I ended up returning it. It didn't meet my purpose of getting the iPad Pro. Number one reason was make my bag lighter, since no papers and pencils to carry to school. The case was too heavy for me. I used this case for 2 weeks. I recommend this to people that have a heavy duty job environment where it will drop 6/10. Not for students that are on the go because you'll need time to set up with this case.

This case was purchased as a gift for my husband! He says this case is adjustable and sturdy and comes highly recommended.

Been waiting a while for this to come to market. I OAD PRO felt too fragile without a real case. Now I can take it to work!

I won't even leave the store without an otter box. I have otter box defender cases on all 9 devices the my family has!!!!!!
