This is a great phone case and did a great job protecting my phone the only problem I had was it made my phone to bulky and heavy it made it kind of uncomfortable to carry but other than that it did it's job

Although Defender is bulkier case, it is the best to protect my phone. No additional screen protector needed.

This is my fifth Otterbox case over various phones and I have never been disappointed. My first Otterbox saved my HTC Eris from delicious garlic dipping sauce and this one has already saved my iPhone 7 Plus from my kids. Otterbox saved my iPhone 4S from my sister's Rottweiler and has kept all my phones looking factory new for years. This newest version of the Defender series is sleeker, but still does the job and then some. You cannot go wrong with this case.

The color is exactly like the picture and looks nice. Fits well and protects phone so far from multiple drops.

Let me start by saying I am VERY hard on phones. Anytime the case comes off, it's guaranteed to get cracked within the week. The otterbox defender is THE premiere case as far as protection of your device is concerned. It certainly isn't flashy, but it's got a hard shell surrounded by a soft silicone shell along with a screen protector which, barring extreme circumstances, guarantees your phone will survive drops, throws, invasions from barbarian warlords, etc. However, the case probably more than doubles the bulkiness of the phone, which is why it gets 4 stars out of 5. But, if you're like me, and want this case sheerly to protect your phone and make it last as long as possible, it gets 6 out of 5 stars.

The Otterbox Defender case offers fabulous protection for your iPhone 7 Plus but adds both size and weight as well. Your new iPhone is the thinnest design ever but you won't enjoy that design with this case. The weight is an issue. There are times you might think you're holding a brick instead of a phone. Yes it gets that heavy. The holster is a plus once you get used to the design. The phone sits in the holster in a way that makes you question if the phone might fall out. This however is not an issue. The belt clip doubles as a kickstand as well which is great for propping up your phone on your desk to watch videos. All in all this case does what it's intended to do...protect your device.

This case is lightweight and less bulky than models before. Fully protects my phone and the color is great too!

I have broken many phones. Shattered the displays. Destroyed the casing. Broken the buttons. Yep - I've done it before. Bought this case for my new iPhone 7+ to provide maximum security against drops for my new phone. With the phone in this casing it is like having the phone in a safe room. This thing is rugged. It protects the phone like nothing else. Highly recommend this case for anyone who tends to be a bit more rough with their phones.

I had gotten this case when I got my iPhone 7 plus. It's a nice color and it protects my phone. It's great.

Certain phones hold there value very well so investing in a nice case that keeps your phone in perfect condition and you actually like is a must and this case does all that. Has a nice feel looks nice holds up very well. The only thing I'd change is that built in screen protector but I just installed a zagg glass Luxe and removed the built in one from the case. Be sure to use some goo gone to remove the adhesive inside if you choose to do the same.

Very nice case that provides good protection. You spend a lot on your phone so you want to protect it. It would be nice if it had some sort of stand built in but that would make it bulkier.

This defender case is so much better than the defender case I had for my 6 plus. This case has plastic covering the home button, so water can't get under the plastic protecting the screen which required removing the case and drying the phone screen and the case and then putting it back on the phone. I haven't had to remove this case once since I put it on my 7 plus. I recommended a customer next to me to purchase a defender case as well and he did.

Well made, rugged, secure, nice easy and positive to grip (not slippery or smooth). Has a built in screen protector, good water and shock protection. The shock/drop protection seems to be just about the best on the market. The built in screen protector saves money as with most other cases you need to by a separate screen protector. Only draw back a little bulky and let's say it doesn't quite slip quietly into your pocket, especially on my iPhone 7 Plus which is already a big guy, but that's the point of this case, hard to accidentally drop and if somehow happens your phone is going to survive. If you take a lot of photos and video like I do the rubberized grip is very helpful.

Had one prior and the protection was outstanding and the use ability was flawless. The best cover ever.

Overall the case is a bit bulky and some of the rubber parts seem to loosen over time, but the case does exactly what you need it to, protect and has a screen protector built in.
