I bought a new Note 4 and of course I needed some kind of protection for it. I have always used an OtterBox. This time I went with the Defender series to protect my investment. Its a great fit. The feel and grip in my hands is great. It does however make a big phone even bigger. The only complaints I have about it are its cost and the screen protector. There is nothing cheap about this case but I feel its a little expensive for what it is. The screen protector is built in and sometimes feels like I am pushing on a cushion of air before I get a solid touch. Some people have removed this and went to a separate protector but it has not bothered enough to try. Overall I am pleased with how it protects my phone. I have dropped it several times already and not a scratch on my phone. Another great OtterBox.

I have owned many phones and have had many different cases and have always kept coming back to the Otterbox for its durability and protection it offers my phone. I'm a klutz and drop my phone at least 4 times a day and my Otterbox has kept my phone safe from damage of any kind. Both external and internal. I figured for sure the internal parts would jiggle around in there and my phone would eventually go haywire but it hasn't so far on any of my phones. It had a nice rubberized grip on the outside which makes it easier to hold on to (i would drop it a whole lot more without it), the hard case inside keeps the phone wrapped up snug so it doesn't shift around (no wiggle room for drops). One thing I've noticed from the earlier versions of Otterbox cases is the rubber stays intact and doesn't stretch out anymore. My only gripe is that the plastic case is hard to take off unless you know what you're doing. The good thing about this product is that if you register it it comes with a lifetime warranty. Other cases as far as I'm aware don't offer that. Otterbox I will always use you as long as you make a case for the phone I have!

So I purchased this otterbox case after having it on my previous phone and it worked very good. I haven't been dissapointed by this case. I have dropped the phone a couple of times and this case has saved the phone several times. The screen protector/covet is a nice feature too and doesn't add any resistance either. The only complaint that I would have for this case is that the belt clip makes this case feel fairly large and awkward and that the screen protector lets dust or dirt get between the screen and the protector since the home button is open. You have to take the case off the phone to clean it out as even canned air won't blow the dust out as there static to it. Other than the holster and dust behind the screen though it is working excellent protecting my phone and keeping it looking new. Would by again.

Thought I would try a case from Amazon that was described as shock absorbent and break resistant. Should have realized that, for this case, it was "get what you pay for". After looking at many cases, I still couldn't find one that compares with Otterbox. I chose Defender this time for my Note 4, over my previous Commuter for Note 2. I don't mind the little more bulkiness of Defender now. I feel my Note 4 is well protected, and the phone is easier to handle. It is a $60 case, but considering the cost of the Note 4, it's part of the insurance of protecting an expensive-to-replace phone. I like the three layer and added corner protection. $60 price, but worth it if you value your phone enough to pay it.

I've already dropped my phone twice, once flat on it's face, and there's not a scratch on the phone. I usually don't get a case (I generally think they're a waste of money) but when I got the Note 4 I didn't want to risk having to pay the replacement fee. Definitely glad I got this case. Only bad part is it's size, without the case it would still fit in my shirt pocket and pant pocket easily, but with the case it's much tougher to get it to fit. Also, first day I used the clip on my waist, two people said it looked like I was carrying that day.

The Defender Otter Box is a great phone protector... especially considering that the cost to replace a Note 4 would be $800. It's a little difficult to figure out how to get the phone in there the first time (look for the You Tube video -- very helpful!) but it's worth the effort. The only thing I would warn you about is to NOT use another screen protector (like Zagg HDX) with it. The Otter Box has a built in screen protector and by using both, you will get some weird issues where it looks like water is trapped between the phone and the Otter Box screen protector. Actually, I removed the screen protector from the case and left my Zagg on it... I feel that the Zagg will allow for a better display and it provides better screen protection.

I'll never buy any other case. No matter what this is the best case because I have already dropped my phone several times and it's still in one piece and the case doesn't show the signs that I've dropped it. I could go for a more girlie looking case and probably lack all of the security and peace of mind knowing that if I drop this phone. I don't have to cringe about a cracked screen or broken phone.

As soon as I bought my Galaxy Note 4, I immediately bought this case with it. I had one for my previous iPhone 4S (well...two, actually), and it worked like a charm - when I traded it in, it looked brand new. This case won't be winning any beauty contests any time soon, but it excels at protecting my phone. I wouldn't trust any other case to keep my phone safe.* *Well, maybe a Lifeproof

Each time I've purchased an android/smart phone, I always purchase an Otterbox covering for it. I have purchased 3 so far and I have never had any problems. Since my phone is bigger than most phones, I can't carry it in my pocket and in most cases, there are no pockets in my purse big enough to hold the phone, so I have to keep my phone with the other items in my purse, such as keys, pens, lotions, etc. and the otterbox protects my phone from scratches, moisture, etc. I very seldom drop my phone, but if I do, I know it is protected b/c of the hard covering on the outside and the extra padding on the inside. I only wish the old otterbox protectors would fit the new phones b/c they are in perfect condition and I have no use for them once I purchase a new phone. I tell everyone they should buy one b/c I know many people who have dropped their phones and the screens are shattered. Each time I purchase a new phone, my old phone is always in mint condition b/c of the otterbox protector I use on each phone. They are pretty expensive, but worth every penny.

The old otter box cases were bulky and heavy. this case is slimmer and thin. Comes with belt clip and etc. Screen protector not needed. Lifeproof cases are the only comparable one to consider. Except it doesn't come with the belt clip as this case does. Worth the money to keep phone protected.

I love the amazing new tech being put out in the new smartphones, but I dont like how easy they are to break. Thus comes Otterbox to my rescue. I'll be blunt this thing takes a beating like nothing else I have ever owned. dropped and hit on pavement? Otterbox dont care left on floor and steped on? Otterbox dont care put in pocket with sharp keys? nope, otterbox still does not give a single care. I almost want to buy a second one just to see what actually DOES take to get through this adamantium-quality phone armor.

I bought the Otter case because I recently popped my phone from a cheaper case and broke the camera lens. After getting that fixed I wanted better protection. This case is not as bulky as I thought. I like the option of having the belt clip that converts to a stand. The only problem is the case is extremely difficult to remove. I have 2 batteries so I change out the battery 1x per day, which means at least 1 case removal per day. The good news is the phone will never "pop" out of this case!

This case is and always will be what other cases base their design and protection from. I've had a Defender for my Note II while I was in the Army. That case took a beating but whenever I took my phone out of the case, it looked just as new as the day I bought it. That's why when I got my Note 4 there was no question to as what case I was going to get.

OtterBox Defender line offers the best protection for cell phones. I have dropped my phone more times than I care to admit and my cell is still in perfect condition. I knew this would be the case I would continue to purchase anytime I upgrade my cell. I would highly recommend the OtterBox brand and specifically the Defender line.

This OtterBox case is a very durable heavy duty case to surround your phone. I find that I can hold my phone more easily without worrying about dropping it because the phone by itself is very slick and easy to drop. This case prevents that. The rubber is soft and I have to say I've looked at many cases and this is the best.

I recommend using Otterbox on EVERY phone you own. I have for more then 2 phones in my life and It has saved them from breaking due to the MANY times I have dropped them. Buy 1 Now for your Phone!

I had an Otterbox for the Galaxy S3, and recently upgraded to the Note 4. For both of these phones, the case has been very sturdy protecting my phone from frequent drops. The case will protect your phone as advertised, I highly recommend it to people who drop their phones (on purpose or by accident).

I definitely would recommend this protective case to any user looking to protect their investment. It can take a vast amount of abuse and keep your device safe. Smartphones aren't cheap and device replacement fees are ridiculous.

Definitely worth the money, I but them to protect all my valuable electronics. They do the job. One thing I wish I could change is they need to come in a better color/design selection.

The otterbox phone cover is the best phone protection money can buy...I've dropped my phone off the top of my truck "on accident of course." It it has saved my phone on many occasions. Best ever!
