Great phone protection for the price. Little bulky but over time you will get use to it. Make sure to buy a screen protector because nothing on the case will protect the screen.

Very nice case for the Note 8. It fits well and stays on tight. There is no screen to this one which in my opinion is better because there is less maintenance to keep it clean. The belt clip it a nice addition because the phone is so large and does not fit into most pockets. Charging the phone on a wireless charger was a little tricky at times which is why I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

The price is extreme but the case is one of the best to protect the phone and the case is needed for the job.

This is one of the best casings for phones I've ever used. I've loved Otterbox cases for years and I had one for my Note 3. It is really durable and strong! I can definitely attest to that since I've dropped my phone a number of times. It also hugs the contours of the phone nicely, while allowing easy access to the necessary ports. It's expensive, but it takes care of your ultra expensive phone. It's really worth every penny! But this!

I questioned the case at first given otterbox moved from the included screen cover due to curved screens. But this case fits tightly and snug all around. I work in a dusty environment with silica and the stuff gets everywhere. This case prevents the powder from getting in between the case and phone. I highly recommend otterbox cases. I've used them for years.

Otterbox is the only brand I would ever use keeps all my phones protected from scracthes,drops,and is always easy to handle. It does add a little bulk,so if your looking for slim design the otterbox defender series might not be for yuou,but they do have the commuter series which does have a s slimmer design and look. Worth every penny getting the otterbox cases.

This Defender has come a long way from the last one I bought 2 years ago. It is a lot less bulky. However, they discontinued the screen protector which I wish they had not. I did buy their screen protector separately. But It is not as good as it was as the other one was part of the case and came off when you took the case off

If you're a clutz like me and drop absolutely everything, Otterbox is the brand for you. Every one of my devices has an Otterbox case and I've never had any issues. I trust no other to protect my $1,000 phone. Just a heads up, it does NOT come with a built in screen protector like they normally do,

Have used Otter boxes on my last 2 phones now and I am very happy with the brand. The only down side to them is they tend to be a bit on the pricey side but they honestly do turn an otherwise fragile piece of electronic equipment such as a cell phone into a tank. They really are quite shock resistant also, so it takes the cringe and holding of your breath out of a short drop on the floor but no longer does the "defender" series come with the screen protector like it once used to so you will need to buy that separately unfortunately . All in all it is a terrific product and I do highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beast of a cell phone case.

The Otterbox Defender series case, Screenless edition. It's an Otterbox so you know your getting the best shock protection for your Galaxy Note 8. The fact that Otterbox couldn't find away to include some sort of screen protection is more than disappointing. Probably just a to boost sells for their Alpha Glass. Wouldn't have killed them to include a film screen protector for the price.

It's an OtterBox, so of course it provides great protection for the phone. I've seen some reviews about the holster not holding the phone tightly enough, but mine seems to be just fine. Because of the Note 8's curved sides, this case does NOT include a screen protector. I wish it did.

I originally bought the otterbox symmetry case clear it did not have anything to protect the screen and the clear part started to turn brown after a week so I returned it and got the defender case which was cheaper thus case is awesome it has full protection plus a belt clip

I bought this after multiple other phone protectors failed at doing their job. Plus, purchasing them from an online retailer and having to return the original and wait for a replacement was annoying. I had used Otterbox covers for older phones, but the "protection screens" seemed to get marred up and unusable. This is a screen less protection device. I am using it with a Zagg screen protector with NO ISSUE AT ALL! The belt clip is better than a slide in pouch because it snaps in place and locks on my belt. It holds tight to the phone and does not limit the use of the phone at all

This item is perfect. I have shopped Otterbox for the past few years and cannot reccomend it enough. They offer a guarantee if the case ceases to protect properly and will send you a new one. The case is solid and protects your phone better than anything else ive used.

Purchased because I previously had the Defender case for my iPhone and loved it. For the Note8 it still has the same durable protective feel. At first it was causing problems with wireless charging, but a recent software update seemed to fix it.

This case is amazing and protective as always. The only minor downside is the fact this case no longer includes the built in screen protector. Other than that I definitely recommend this, especially when fearing breaking a thousand dollar phone.

You buy a $1000 phone you want to protect it! I had a couple cheap cases I had gotten but unhappy with the fit I looked into the OtterBox and I'm happy I did! Not too bulky for an already large phone but will still protect my large investment.

Love the Otter Box. My old one had a screen on it to protect the face of my phone. Hate that there is not one for the new Otter Box. Am forced to buy a sticky film protector which I do not care for. Overall though I will always buy an Otter for protection of my phone. Hope they put the screen protector back into their product.
